  1. Really interesting podcast. I've listened to all the episodes, but the one that came out today. I really don't know if Adnan is guilty or not, but the one thing that bothers me is the timeline. It just doesn't seem to add up.
  2. Going to more baseball parks would be one. Going to a Super Bowl. Hard to plan, but I'd like to be at a game in which one of my favorite teams won a championship. That would be cool.
  3. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 3, 2014 -> 12:01 PM) Think I might try it this weekend as I'll have some time. I've been putting it off trying to strengthen my character but I saw some guys doing it last night when I was patrolling Venus and got an itch to do it. It was fun. Some of the coolest parts are the non combat parts. I can see how it could take a long time if you are with people who haven't done it. I really had no idea what I was doing. I was just shooting randomly.
  4. Wolf spiders are fast. I had one charge at me while I was at work.
  5. We had a tiny little garden snake at my place once. That freaked me out. If I saw a rattlesnake, I would just leave and never return.
  6. Finally got to do the Vault of Glass in Destiny. Only took a little over an hour to complete. Sure helps when two of the people on my team have done it a dozen times. Looking forward to the Dark Below.
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 1, 2014 -> 01:29 PM) This is more of a general statement, but I feel like teams passing on QBs because they already have a young starter is a huge mistake teams make. If you think Mariota is the real deal, Derek Carr or Blake Bortles shouldn't stop you from drafting them. (I have no idea how good Mariota will be, it's more of a hypothetical) QB is such an important position nowadays, you don't pass up a star because you might have an OK one developing right now. I feel the same way. Carr wasn't even a first round pick.
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 1, 2014 -> 01:25 PM) Just a combination of offensive firepower/production and speed. They always go after speed IMO, don't they? Not since Reggie McKenzie has taken over. Al Davis was the one who liked size/speed.
  9. I actually think the Bears can win all three home games. Road game vs Vikings is probably the toughest.
  10. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Nov 26, 2014 -> 10:17 AM) I criticized that trade immediately. Too high of a price to add a WR on a team with multiple holes to fill. Watkins looks like he'll be a really good WR, but the same can be said of Evans, Benjamin, Cooks and Beckham, who were all taken later. It really was a bad draft to trade up and get a WR. It will probably turn out to be one of the deepest WR drafts in history.
  11. Trading up high in the draft, you better hit on a player or your team is in trouble for a long time. It's still early, but Buffalo traded a 1st round pick to move up and take Watkins. Could have stayed at 9 and had Odell Beckham. Not that Watkins is bad, but he isn't a 1st round pick better than Beckham.

    2014 Films Thread

Jurassic World should have an appearance of Godzilla at the end. Like they have to call him in to settle everything down. Automatic good movie.
  13. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 25, 2014 -> 02:32 PM) Total #'s don't prove anything. Show me the rate of criminal activity. What percent of murders in this country are committed by black males? What percent of shooting incidents with cops as intended targets are committed by blacks versus whites? Years ago there were unfair drug sentences, but that's been gone for decades. The skin color doesn't matter, your address matters. Shoot, last night there were hundreds of shots fired at or around police during a protest (and a murder, btw). When's the last time a bunch of white people rioted and shot at police? There was a murder at the riot yesterday?
  14. As bad as they have been at times. If the Saints win that division, they will get a home game. That will be a tough game for a road team to win.
  15. I guess I don't see rioting as animal like behavior. People are frustrated. They feel like they aren't getting justice. Sometimes that anger can spill over to destructive behavior. Probably a small amount of people use the situation to cause damage or to steal for fun, but I think it's a really small amount of people. I also think throwing tear gas or smoke into a group of protesters may cause anger to boil over.
  16. I've never heard white people referred to as animals, but I'm sure it's not about race.
  17. People on here like to call black people "animals". Little bit disturbing.
  18. I think with a little kid, I would be more willing to take a risk that maybe the gun is fake or if it is real the kid doesn't even know what he's doing with it. I think I would rather take the risk of getting shot at than to shoot a little kid. I could never live with that.
  19. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Nov 24, 2014 -> 10:57 AM) He's a Packers fan hoping we can wipe out Detroit for him. This game and a couple others probably wouldn't hurt. Also, it would just be great to see the Lions lose at home on Thanksgiving, seriously hurting their playoff hopes.
  20. Must win game for the Bears this week. Go Bears. You can do this!
  21. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Nov 21, 2014 -> 11:06 AM) B&B also seemingly go out of their way to let people with dumb comments or questions on the air so they can b**** about how dumb everyone is. I know all shows will get the dumb calls but most shows will at least try to weed out them out. They do it on purpose. Sometimes it's funny when you get someone really crazy calling in, but 90% of the time it's annoying. Lawrence Holmes almost never gets calls like that. In general I hate when shows take phone calls. I would rather listen to the host talk about something or talk with people like Matt Bowen.
  22. He may only have 1 sack, but Khalil Mack is so good.
