Clevinger would have to be light's out in ST to make the team. There's nothing to lose. Meanwhile, Jerry just spearheaded one of the largest redevelopments this city has seen in the last century. You guys aren't having a great week.

He's from Florida, has terrible tattoos, rocks a stupid hair cut, eats acid and has more false allegations than a rapper. I'm here for the lol's.

MiLB deals get me all fired up.

Generally I agree, but when you have a generational player, I don't mind building around him. Robert is probably the most physically gifted player to ever play for the White Sox. I would have traded him, but I also understand hanging on to him.

Man, this hurts to read. -
Back in 23, there was also a possibility that Robert was the one cost controlled cornerstone player you could build around.

Perez and Albertus are going to tell us a lot about where the Sox are as an organization. They're the type of of prospects that really good organizations turn into major leaguers. Albertus has pure tools across the board and Perez is solid fundamentally with real pop. The Sox need to turn at least 1 into an every day player. Vargas is the definition of an "I can fix him" prospect and I'd be surprised if anyone actually can. Vargas is like your buddy's hot girlfriend that sucks to be around. Looks the part, solid approach, solid power, pretty swing, hits like s%*#. I like Getz overall plan, and appreciate the transparency, but if these trades that most people think are insignificant don't hit, he's doomed. Hot take: I like the trio of Zavala, Albertus and Perez better than Ramos, Colas and Sosa, but I'll still be really disappointed if neither Ramos nor Sosa don't become regulars for somebody. Sosa can flat out hit and Ramos is solid everywhere. Colas is a non prospect whose ability might buy him 3 years as a 25th man somewhere. Great tools but he's high maintenance in every part of his game. He still might make a great pich hitter or defensive replacement though. I'm sure he'll be a 2.5 WAR player somewhere because White Sox.

Sports fandom is completely irrational. Most people still follow teams regardless of outcome. The Bulls are a great example. They lead the league in attendance yearly despite being owned by Reinsdorf and having 25 years of abysmal leadership. The White Sox have won 1 championship over the last 107 years. Sox fandom is even more irrational as it also has a cultural and micro geographic factor. It's a lot bigger than Jerry Reinsdorf.

Rick Hahn reading this message board a few years ago is a much different conversation than SS2K accusing me of being a plant that is paid by the Sox. Think of how stupid and paranoid that thought process is.
-
You think that's evidence? This board is the 228th busiest baseball site with a message board. These numbers are public. To put this into context, this all started because I wished Moncada the best and that post has the most "likes" in this thread. Maybe traffic is down because of people like you and not people like me. IDK.

You've been here for 7 years.😄

Destroyed? We aren't even debating anything. I say this board is dead (25 active members on a Saturday night) and the mods think it's still relevant. Clearly we have a different definition of an active message board. In fairness, it's a dead medium, but 25 active people? Come on.

I have 5400 posts over 20 years. Every day.

I could see them caring about Twitter and Reddit, but this board is basically dead. There hasn't even been a new poster that contributes much in years and the majority of old posters only lurk. What exactly would they be paying me for, to say Jerry is a trash owner, Getz seems like he has a plan and Yoan Moncada seems like a decent human being?
-
When did I say they tell me things?
-
Do you literally not understand sarcasm? Of course they don't tell me things. Of course they don't give a s%*# about this message board. Come on, man. Half my posts are mocking you and your little master blaster buddy who also posts 100 times a day. Why would you believe anything I say?
-
They tell me things? What? I mean, I used to frequent the same bar as a woman who had an accounting gig in the front office in like 2010. They even gave her a WS ring. I haven't seen her in 10 years and she never talked about the team, but you know, I was adjacent.
-
Hold on, do you think the White Sox are paying me to defend Yoan Moncada on a message board in 2025? That's crazier than thinking Lip actually has a credible contact that's currently part of the Sox organization after spending the last 25 years on a weird vendetta against the team.
-
Bought by who? What are you talking about? What sources? Are you okay?
-
Come on. You know Lip isn't remotely credible. The Sox have always been known for taking care of their own, to a fault.
-
By all accounts, he's a good guy that couldn't stay healthy. I don't hold that against him and hope he succeeds in his next venture. It's just being a decent human being.

Luck. Outside of football, most athletes don't train with the team. If Trout was training with the Angels, you think they would have him built like a linebacker?
