OK well an avg defensive catcher that can hit 270/340/380 is still a 3 WAR player. He's the least of our problems right now.

What do you mean there is "nobody to sign"? Nobody to sign in that price range? If so maybe we could have traded for some more money ourself? I dunno, I'm having a hard time spinning this move. Why do we need another DFA candidate?

We nailed the Crochet trade. At best he's going through a bit of a dead arm it appears. At worst he's just not the same guy he was last year ever again.
