  1. Yea there's something about the way the crust hardens on the corners that is perfection. It's a heart attack waiting to happen but hey, that's what the gym sessions are for.
  2. lol I saw that post that went viral, the fuck is "st louis style"? What is Chicago thin crust? Now you got me curious as a big NYC thin crust fan.
  3. detroit style > chicago style
  4. If only the other 25 guys had his TWTW.
  5. pisses me off that game should have been to go over .500.
  6. From almost every available piece of evidence this stupid ass FO thinks they have a 40 man crunch.
  7. It's too bad they won't consider trading Jose.
  8. lol we all called it, as soon as the offense would get going the pitching would regress. this is a joke.
  9. he's always had a decent short quick stroke but he seemed to have problems chasing high heat the last two years. Working some better counts this year.
  10. the less time guys have in Chicago they seem to do better, if that doesn't indicate a change is needed at the top with the hitting philosophy and teaching what does?
  11. Tigers will leave tonight with a season high in hits most likely.
  12. The only guy on staff I really feel is more useful than detrimental. If we had a staff full of guys as good and analytical as he is the Sox would be much better.
  13. The team is just mediocre even when healthy. Half a dozen guys they were counting on are either always hurt and/or underperforming. If Robert and Moncada aren't combining for like 10-11 WAR this club is mediocre. And there's no reason to think Robert and Moncada are going to suddenly catch fire. Both of them have serious mechanical issues right now in their swings.
  14. Right. And on Twinkietown and other twins forums they knew their club was shit well before the national pundits. we watch this shit every day or close to it, what exactly if the hope for a turnaround, some hypothetical time when everybody is healthy and playing well? The season is 1/3 over, guys keep getting injured and timelines pushed back. there is no full roster coming anytime soon and you'd be a fool to think this oft injured club will sustain health.
  15. that's just the function of a mediocre team. You have good pitching and putrid offense. "good at losing" just means good at not scoring enough runs to make leads hold up or not having enough bullpen depth (despite you know, allocating an insane amount of payroll to it) to make a slim lead count more often than not. Or it means making the critical error (because half your roster is a 1B/DH type) and letting the game get away from you in a big moment. Everything adds up to runs not scored and runs not prevented and you do that enough you start to lose more than you win. I'm really not trying to be pedantic or deep here, it's just how games are won and lost.
  16. He's always given me the impression of a big drinker. Takes one to know one.
  17. This season is over. Trade Gio bring up some youngsters and start looking for the next manager.
  18. yermin is part and parcel of everything wrong with this stupid stubborn franchise. to demote the guy and then just have him on the 40 man when you're dropping guys like Gonzalez, COME ON. That said, Yermin can go fuck himself too. Guy is a known team cancer.
  19. Lol, thanks. I hope 40 man concerns haven't influenced a single move but for some reason I feel they have.
  20. Wasnt Zevala already on the 40 man?
