Yea we might catch a break. Boone said Judge is day to day but from his tone it sounded like he might need a 10 day IL stint. Their pitching has been hit hard with injuries as you noted.

There's more to it then his home and road splits. He's playing a decent 3B (only -2.1 runs below average as a defender) and has decent speed on the basepaths (.6 runs above average). He's a much better all around player than vaughn or eloy, and so far this year he's a much better hitter as well.

Reminds me of a frustrating OOTP season where your team is stacked on paper but then some s%*# goes wrong early, your division is absolutely loaded, and you recover a bit in mid summer but wind up with 85 wins or so and miss the playoffs by a few games. Not a bad season, but relative to expectations a complete bust.
