QUOTE (SuperSteve @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 10:44 PM) Are you referring to the central bank coordination between the US, Canada, ECB, UK, Swiss, and I want to say Japanese but I can't remember the sixth? Yeah, I didn't pay attention to all the details but I knew the Fed was involved in guaranteeing something about the time that the yields on italian bonds started stabilizing/plummeting.

Hey, the probowl happened. How about that. -
QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jan 30, 2012 -> 03:11 AM) "Fire Otis. Fire Otis." Much like Jim Hendry, I've got to express some sympathy for the guy. He's been trying to balance buildilng a winning team with keeping a superstar happy and outsourcing some of the decision making to that superstar. Not a simple task.

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 08:56 PM) Suicide watch, jeez...I'm not saying based off what happened today that we'll beat Miami in the playoffs but considering how all these games have been close, we are right there with them and you gotta be really pessimistic to believe we have zero shot against them.Me, I'm not throwing up the white flag, f*** Miami. And yet...the Bulls have lost 5 of those close 1s in a row.

QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 09:16 PM) Which is exactly why the current policy is to "let Europe deal with it". Didn't we guarantee them some big loans last fall?

QUOTE (SuperSteve @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 07:45 PM) Basically my biggest fear is contagion and I just cannot see how Greece can fix itself without leaving the EZ. Sorry if I came off as dickish too Balta,I wasn't trying to. Actually I've been saying that the only way this gets fixed is if Greece leaves the EZ as well, for a while. Anyway, I come off as dickish to everyone here, so no worries.

QUOTE (TheCut87 @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 06:37 PM) This is an NBA thread not just a chicago bulls thread he can post what he wants If the TWolves talk bothers people...then conveniently, we have an option, an entirely vacant Chicago Bulls related message board, which would LOVE to have someone, anyone, posting there!

QUOTE (TheCut87 @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 06:35 PM) Lebron also wasn't guarding drose most of the 4th quarter keep in mind Lebron played 41 minutes, and the 3 minutes he sat in the 4th quarter were when the Bulls made that first big run.

How on Earth do you expect any country to pull off that level of wage deflation while the ECB holds eurozone wide inflation rates at or below the magic 2%? Wages simply do not do that. If there's a clear message from the European situation, that's it. You can take others, but that's the clearest one you can see...the ECB has tried to impose that solution on half a dozen countries and it has failed in every case. And when the investments that the european banks and hedge funds hold would be literally worth nothing in the event of Greece just giving them the middle finger, anything they'd get in return for those investments is a taxpayer-arranged gift.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 06:07 PM) How can the Bulls completely forget that the game isnt even close to over when that ft is missed. Its so stupid that Noah had to foul out there. I just dont see how you can objectively watch this game and believe that the bulls cant beat the Heat, they may lose, but definitely they could have won. This phrase now describes 5 straight losses.
-
QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 06:05 PM) We cant beat them Balta? Really? We'll find a way to blow it.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 06:04 PM) borderline call...goes our way That was the definition of a blocking foul.
-
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 06:02 PM) What the Heat did last year really doesnt matter. Bulls are playing even @ Miami, thats all you can hope for. I think the fact that the Bulls can't beat this team any more matters a lot.
-
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 05:59 PM) A lot of people are really overreacting about a game @ Miami when the Bulls had the best record in the league. The Bulls have now lost 5 in a row to this team and the only way the Bulls win a title is to get through them. Right now, there's no sign that the Bulls have stepped past them. Yes, you can use the backup/Deng/Watson excuse, you can use teh in Miami excuse, but the Heat have figured out every way to beat the Bulls possible in teh last 5 games.
-
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 05:56 PM) It is more on the Bulls offensive end that they can't match up with the Heat D. They haven't had a quality shot for 4 or 5 possessions now. And they're able to do that now because the clock is running out. They can crank down without having to worry about the next quarter.
-
The Bulls simply cannot match up with their top flight starting lineup. The Bulls depth got them back close, but now that the Heat have their full lineup in, the Bulls just can't stop them.
-
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 05:52 PM) Carlos Boozer! The worst FA signing of 2010. Joe Johnson's $124 million laughs at you.
-
If anyone was ever wondering why I kept saying LeBron needed a post game, take a look at that last 2 points. That was unfair.
-
James is going to have to play like 42 minutes here, otherwise they cant get points.
-
Wow

Where did this 9-0 run come from? Come on D...

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 05:35 PM) Bulls half court has been better than Heats half court, and thats all that really matters. Huh?
