  1. Yes. I have no problem with them giving Keuchel a chance against Fowler. He's not particularly good these days. But after Fowler roped a single into LF, the top of the order was up - Keuchel should have been out right there, but LaRussa hadn't planned ahead. It did not cost them that game, but it was still a mistake. Tony LaRussa is not to blame for Eaton's miscue, Moncada's error, or Grandal's passed ball. At least as far as I know, LaRussa did not order those things to happen.
  2. The only reason I’m not a zombie today is that the dog slept in today, rather than getting me up to take her out.
  3. Yesterday in the 5th inning, he sent Keuchel back out when he was clearly gassed, and most importantly no one was up in the bullpen. He wound up with 2 runners on and 0 outs with Ohtani and Trout next, and Foster coming in after rushing a warmup. It took a Herculean effort to avoid a big inning - if LaRussa wanted Keuchel to go back out, he should have seen he was struggling and at least had someone ready to go after Fowler hammered the ball. That’s one where the manager should be on top of things. For a counter example, LaRussa sent Kopech out in the 8th inning with Trout leading off, to give him the shot at Trout. However, he had Marshall already warm before the inning started. This was the proper way to handle it - when Trout walked (narrowly, some help from the ump), he brought in Marshall immediately. So one correct and one incorrect version of the same move yesterday.
  4. Crochet has to work. I don’t care if Lynn has a perfect game through 8.
  5. Well then. Maybe Hendricks needs the work. That was a bad pitch.
  6. The guy whose job it is to update the runner position on the screen on the broadcast gave up and went to bed.
  7. You will have to do a Custom one for now. Number 73. https://www.fanatics.com/mlb/chicago-white-sox/chicago-white-sox-nike-home-replica-custom-jersey-white/o-3421+t-92449790+p-92538912920+z-9-2240996396?_ref=p-DLP:m-GRID:i-r0c0:po-0
  8. How many guys have done this in MLB history? Come on Stoney.
  9. Did everyone see him step out and take a deep breath to focus before that pitch?
  10. Ok, I wouldn’t do this. But, 4 run lead, Hendricks already pitched, Trout only comes up if people get on base, is this the place to give Ruiz an inning, and save the rest of Hendricks to go tomorrow?
  11. I mean, that probably looks easy for Buxton too?
  12. 80% of big league outfielders and that was. He covered some ground to get there.
  13. There’s an insurance run! That did not have the sound or a HR to center off the bat.
  14. That ball went way farther than I expected. Thank you Luis.
  15. What are the odds of both Madrigal and Iglesias striking out in the same game?
  16. He also sets up A force out at any base against a guy who is likely to make contact on the ground and now is giving his closer the job of making that go to a fielder.
  17. I got no problem with this. Let’s see why you got paid Liam.
  18. That was a big flinch and a deep relief sigh on that bobble. still an error right?
