  1. QUOTE(rangercal @ Jul 18, 2005 -> 01:02 PM) just clearing the air. Just because I think that stat is more important. We are also undefeated since the Allstar break Yeah, I know. We are playing fantastic. It's pretty amazing that I'm looking for things to start getting worried about, like the Yanks being almost .650 since the beginning of May and Oakland being in the WC hunt.
  2. QUOTE(rangercal @ Jul 18, 2005 -> 12:59 PM) since April 4th The White sox are 61-29 You know, I had no idea.
  3. Oakland's only 4 over since May 6th. Interesting.
  4. It's not that Leiter and co. scare the hell out of me. It's that lineup that I'm a little intimidated by.
  5. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jul 18, 2005 -> 12:55 PM) Oakland. Gotta be. they might too, but it's not them I'm talking about.
  6. ...and another American League team is also 38-22. Guess who.
  7. Think with walk-up we'll sell out the next seven games?
  8. I just don't think the Wild Card comes out of the west. I think it's definitely Minnesota, and Oakland is too far back to win that division in my opinion
  9. It scares me that Oakland is 2 1/2 out of the WC, although my gut says they are not talented enough to make it.
  10. Anyone else concerned about this? Yes, we are 30-5 against the Central. Great. We are not going to face a Central foe in the first round. We could be 60-5 against the Central for all I care. Assuming we win the division (yeah, I'm ready to assume that, so shoot me, and yeah, I "jinxed" us last week with the same talk), we will face one of these six teams (sox record against): Boston (0-0) New York (0-0) Baltimore (2-2) Anaheim (4-3) Texas (2-3) Oakland (2-7) Out record out of the division is only at 31-24, not impressive by any stretch. Why is it that we can beat the crap out of our own division but haven't had as much success outside? Even Tampa took a series from us down at the Trop... Also, I wonder what the best all time divisional record is? The Sox have got to have the best one after 35 games....hard to imagine a better one than .857 winning percentage
  11. nice to see Ozzie use the whole "A" team for a change
  12. christ paulie, why not just forfeit the out next time
  13. Hawk is the Dennis Rodman of announcing. You absolutely hate him if he's on the other guy's team....but you love him if he's on yours.
  14. jesus christ maybe averaging 33,000 the rest of the way is actually realistic
  15. my bad, yeah I just caught that and he was way f***ing safe
  16. why the hell would you steal third with two outs anyway?
  17. I have never seen a bunt get to the outfield
  18. what was that, a 15 footer?
  19. this is looking like the kind of game I love to watch
  20. I really dislike having to start the second half with our worst starter going to the bump
