He looks pretty lost at the plate lately. Sure, he can muscle a ball out of the park with his strength a few times, but it seriously looks like he is swinging on one leg. I'm not sure how long we can afford to have a 3 hitter batting .218, or even .230, no matter how many jacks he has. His OBP is also inching down close to .300...not good. ERA means nothing. Look at his April outing against the Twins. The guy had a WHIP of 2+ but an ERA of something like 3.5

Check out his WHIP. He should have an ERA about a run higher than it is. Flat out, Contreras is a mediocre pitcher with good stuff. He can't throw strikes consistently enough, and when he does, he occasionally gets really shelled.

Yes. With a username referencing the great Greg Hibbard, it's obvious that I'm not a White Sox fan. Come on people, read through my posts. I hate the Yankees. I would love for nothing more than to see them fail. They have compiled, with the White Sox, the best record in the AL over the last 70 days. That's surprising.
