  1. QUOTE(KWs OK for Me @ May 5, 2005 -> 03:00 PM) Greinke does not deserve to be on the losing end of this game I'm fine with that.
  2. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 5, 2005 -> 03:00 PM) YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!1
  3. QUOTE(fathom @ May 5, 2005 -> 02:41 PM) Sox haven't had a runner reach 2nd base today. Greinke has still faced the minimum. Like I said, this is really like the game Buehrle had in Cleveland last year.
  4. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 5, 2005 -> 02:37 PM) Another quick inning for Greinke. 1-0 Royals after 7 innings of play. He's at 78 pitches, so I don't think we'll be seeing that marvellous Royal pen today. We really need to do something soon.
  5. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 5, 2005 -> 02:36 PM) Carl has a beautiful count...s***s on it. Horses*** inning. Son of a b****.
  6. Everyone remember that 2-hit SO that Buehrle threw against Cleveland last year (where he faced the minimum number of batters)? If the offense doesn't do something soon, that's going to be us on the wrong end of that. Contreras deserves a win already. He certainly doesn't deserve a loss.
  7. Greinke and Contreras look almost identical today. Greinke 66 pitches 45 strikes 2 hits 4 K's Contreras 68 pitches 46 strikes 2 hits 3 K's
  8. QUOTE(RockRaines @ May 5, 2005 -> 02:14 PM) Update in Min, shannon stewart gets into it with Davis from Cle, benches clear Let's just hope this isn't one of those things that lights a fire underneath either of those teams.
  9. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 5, 2005 -> 02:14 PM) I had you beat, I already made that prediction to wharris. He can vouch for that Hey, if we're both right, I don't even care.
  10. OK, I'm gonna make a prediction. It's probably just wishful thinking, but Uribe is gonna go deep in the bottom of the 6th.
  11. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:58 PM) How many batters in a row were retired until Berroa's hit? 12?
  12. QUOTE(fathom @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:53 PM) Everett = swinging at everything these days Not exactly. There were three pitches in that at-bat that he didn't swing at.
  13. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:50 PM) Scotty in scoring position soon. That's what I'm thinking.
  14. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:46 PM) Yup, CC started, obviously didn't do very well. That's sort of good news. We all knew that the Twins wouldn't keep losing, but at least Sabathia got rocked. We certainly don't need any trouble from the Indians, and Sabathia sucking is a good sign.
  15. Nice to see Contreras come back after three straight balls.
  16. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:41 PM) Well that threat didn't last long. 3 straight outs after AJ got on. Still no score on the southside. At least we made Greinke work a little more.
  17. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:36 PM) Pierz with the lead-off single. Greinke threw as many pitches to Pierzynski as he threw the entire 1st inning.
  18. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:35 PM) Do you have access to a jump to conclusions mat or something? Well, sorry.
  19. QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ May 5, 2005 -> 01:29 PM) greinke is the man Well, I think we're a little better than this. I'm sure we'll start hitting soon, but I'm feeling sorry for Contreras because he has glided through 3 innings and it looks like he might get a ND again.
