Multiply that by 3 or so million.

I'm parking my truck at the local elementary school. I'll be sleeping there.

The vast majority of transportation funds come from fuel taxes right? How big is your gas tank? 20 gal? You might fill it once every 3-4 days-ish? Sounds about normal. I have a 275 gal tank. I fill it every other day (this depends on so much I won't list it all). Tolls? If costs a car $5 to cross the Skyway now, I pay $25. The GW is over $100 now I think. I had a delivery in Orlando FL, cost me $50 to get through the city in tolls. It costs $80 a week for inspection, registration and permits (I'm not HazMat or oversized, I do haul beer). Then I still pay federal and state taxes on top of that. So tell me again I don't pay enough taxes for the roads, please.

who's paying the medical bills for this dead person?
DukeNukeEm replied to DukeNukeEm's topic in The Filibuster
1. Your wallet, particularly in a case when someone has been declared dead by a handful of doctors from across a broad medical spectrum. 2. Myself, and I actually have a DNR in case of brain damage.* * at least in theory, our right to die in this country is pretty non-existant. -
Either you're naturally insufferable or you need to lay off the cocaine. I'm pretty proud of my ability to put words in other people's mouths but even I'm impressed with how bold you were in just making s*** up. I rail constantly against the minimum wage, I even work a job that is exempted from those laws! Then you start talking about immigrants then my happiness and I just lose you. I'm really not going to categorically repudiate each of your claims because I run a severe risk of saying something like "I would strive in that society, I would be rich" which is a pretty humiliatingly dumb thing to say. I'm just going to say that I don't get anything from the government that I don't pay for 3 times over.

Yea I remember when you went to the hospital and they just shot you out back if your credit check came back looking bad. Harsh times, indeed. Honestly, Americans by and large aren't worth saving. Willfully ignorant, morbidly obese and obscenely wasteful.... I don't get all teary eyed if the 450 lb blob rolling around Wal Mart in a mobility scooter can't get her back fixed. -

Which is subsidized by higher rates for everyone else. Same s***, different pony. Some people might be stupid enough to think its progress though. -
Oh, and I don't complain about how hard it is... I complain that it isn't hard enough.

Duke "Hey guys America used to not suck" Guys "Buuuuuutttttttt RACSM" Then Soxbadger drops into the thread with useless family anecdotes and lame clichéd "never againzzzz XD ;(" talk and you have successfully diverted the argument that before your evil, s*** spewing Lord & Savior Inc. Mr Government f***ing went apes*** this used to be at least a nice place to live for some people as opposed to now where its just f***ing awful for everyone. Nope, can't bring that up. Because racist. So racist. Anytime someone indicates that maybe if we didn't decide to let the government run our lives at the exact time the state consummated their marriage with the wealthy they might as well be Bruce Willis in Die Hard wearing that "I Hate n*****s" sign in Harlem. Keep using that though, it seems to successfully repulse any claim that your ideology is colossal failure.

Im German, the American government bombed my family to bits. I want some money n stuff.

And so are you. Your ancestors are equally as complicit in that s*** as mine are, and none of your white guilt induced whining changes a damn thing about that. Get over yourself, cracker, bringing race up at every available opportunity is not going to alleviate the guilt fed into you by the media.

I knew it was coming, the BUT WUT ABT RAYCISM N SOXIAL JUSTISE?!?!?!? Don't give a s*** anymore, just flat out stopped caring once I came to the realization that those things are used a crutch to pretend this country hasn't always been a total mess. Id love to see the O'Shaughnessy dam blown up by the way. The rampant ambition of that era did lead us to make some mistakes. Putting San Francisco in a permanent state of drought alone would be worth it, not to mention restoring the canyon itself.

I've said over and over that much of this country needs to be protected from our addiction to consumption. Americans by and large are lazy, fat, useless assholes who would nuke Denali from orbit if it would somehow mean they could stuff 5% more useless crap into their shopping carts. My contempt for them is a big reason I don't give a s*** what happens to them. And the glory years? Eh, 1870-1950-ish. At least that's how I imagine it (I wasn't there), the 60's and 70's weren't bad even if the writing was on the wall.

If you're just pushing this welfare and social justice crap because you know it'll eventually destroy the current power structure and from there we can again be a self governing people responsible for our own situations I take back every single time I've disagreed with you.
-
Because I've always seen America as the sum of free individuals. I know its not, I'm not that stupid, but I just like the idea. That and its a very naturally beautiful place.
-
Eh, LeBron is annoying. I don't like him either and probably couldn't root for him.
-
To the death you will defend this piece of s*** because for like a month he was your poster boy for that compromise scam being used to kill America.
-
God I love seeing that fat piece of s*** flounder. Beautiful, bonus points for being the liberal's little pet Republican too.

who's paying the medical bills for this dead person?
DukeNukeEm replied to DukeNukeEm's topic in The Filibuster
They've got nothing, this whole thing is rapidly becoming exposed as a colossal farce orchestrated by this lawyer (shocking!!). The hospital is barred by privacy laws from telling everyone Grandma's suction killed the kid, that is until the suit comes. Unless the lawsuit can instead swirl around this dead body being left to die instead of the family disobeying doctors and killing the child via their own recklessness, then they never have to even bring up the initial incident. Its all a play for money and attention. The family and lawyer are all over TV whining and crying and now claiming the dead body is improving (is she decomposing? How can she improve? She's dead!) because they want this settlement bad. Its got nothing to do with the kid and everything to do with people who want money but don't want to earn it. -
Well you have the other June 1 cuts to pick from.

Ok, this is what I read once and I can't find the article again: The family gave her a popsicle (or hamburger or both) which caused her to bleed, at that point the grandmother performed a suction which only made things worse. -
Frank is all but certainly in. Once its official I celebrate. Who else is going to Cooperstown for this? It might be a very long time before another players dons the black and white on his way to the hall.

From what I've read the family kind of ignored orders. I don't know though, but theres some doubt it was the hospitals fault. -
Aaron Hernandez was just served a search warrant for his suspected involvement in a 2012 double homicide.

I've picked WSCR up in Spokane WA at night before. Them and 720 really launch a signal.
