who's paying the medical bills for this dead person?

And all you do-gooders, you know how much can be done to actually help people with the resources spent maintaining the state of this corpse? -
who's paying the medical bills for this dead person?

f*** those people. Seriously, do they think its going to get any better wasting doctor's time and hospital resources on a corpse? This is why we can't have universal healthcare in this country: "Oh my precious boy is a drooling fleshy paperweight, please spend millions to keep him this way." This is just the American addiction to consumption being allowed a final hurrah in the waning moments of ones life. Its not enough to just die, you gotta die like your EBT glitched out and you have unlimited funds to buy anything you want. -

Vegatative state and brain dead are two very different things. Not that I agree with the idea that people should have to be kept alive by machines BCUZ THAS WUT JESUS SEZ 2 DO. Honestly, I think the plug she be pulled on anyone who stands zero medical chance of a recovery that included regaining meaningful consciousness. Why keep people alive like that? If my Mom (god help me if this f***ing happened) was going to be a vegetable just drooling on herself everyone in our family would universally agree to pull the plug. You don't leave some one laying there just waiting to go through the formality of officially dying at that point. Not that they'd even have any concept of "waiting" or anything else. None of that even applies here though. This girl is dead as a doornail. There's no life left. -

I think the family pretty clearly wants to keep the kid on life support. The real issue, as I understand it, is the dead girl wont survive the trip to somewhere else without an operation to insert a feeding tube. The hospital doesn't do medical operations on dead people, so the body is stuck there. The hospital is also not a morgue, and I'm guessing the hospital really wants rid of a dead body clogging up resources for the living. -
In Oakland a girl died after a botched surgery or something. The doctors pronounced her dead but the family insists she's alive, biology seems to side with the doctors. Anyways, the dead girl is getting some pretty ludicrous medical care to keep her heart "beating". This isn't cheap and I don't think health insurance extends to dead people. Who pays for this s***? This has been going on for weeks, if they have the money to pay for it themselves fine but unless they're ludicrously wealthy that's not possible. I read they want operations done on the corpse now, which makes no sense. The kid is dead, theyre probably sad about it, but I'm more concerned with who's paying for this kid to basically decompose while hooked up to a bunch of machines,

Rip out a lane in each direction, shorten the passengers side shoulder on each side, lie down the tracks and open up a 2 lane reversible express lane then toll that (or do the HOV thing like out west if you want). You can wait 4 months until 294 is under construction again so people won't even notice the difference. I'm being a lttile satirical.

Couldn't they have just laid track on the median of 294 for a Metra ring route? No NIMBY's (294 is louder than any train), no bulldozing anything (its already been bulldozed) and its a direct bypass to 294's delightful little brand of hell. Its a natural choice.

US Prison Admissions are at a Two-Decade Low

They're just making room for all the thought criminals. -
I played the little draft game: 1. Khalil Mack OLB Buffalo 2. Kony Ealy DE Missouri 3. Adrian Hubbard OLB Alabama 4. Daquan Jones DT Penn St 5. DeAnthony Thomas RB Oregon 6. Jonathan Dowling S WKU 6. Ross Cockrell CB Duke I had no choice but to keep going pass rush. I can't pass on Mack at 14, I can't pass on Ealy in R2, then its just feeding me studs at positions I already addressed. If this happened I'd be cool with it though.

Wilson? Alright. He's got definite upside and even if he isn't great the 3rd WR is the 5th receiving option on this team by a sizeable margin. It is not worth any investment beyond a late-round flier to upgrade that spot. Boggs? I'm scared a little. But Garza was f***ing terrible and somehow turned OK because Kromer the guys around him. Kromer likes Boggs, the coaches like Boggs. Bring someone in at least to compete though, if that's Garza I would be pissed if Garza was just handed the job. Michael Bush? No. Nuhuhf***ingnoway. With Michael Bush a Forte injury is cataclysmic. This is going to require a meaningful investment, perhaps the only offensive spot other than backup QB where I would call the need pressing. Bush sucks. Bush costs money. Bush should be replaced by a rookie.

If Clowney falls to 14 something is so clearly wrong with him I'll have immediate doubts about the pick.

Its snow, not plutonium. Quit whining and go to work. Edit- to expand, my first day back since my trailer basically fell apart on me in Boise some idiot in WY with PA plates nearly spun out into my bumper on black ice. He tried hitting the brakes over the ice (oops). The ditch caught him pretty well, he was all right. Car a bit f***ed up but it ran so I gave him a bottle of water and took off. So yea, snow and ice. Bad for your 4 wheeler on all seasons with like 800 lbs of traction on each wheel.

Wait, I've only been in a Costco to take a dump after I realized you need some membership thing to buy stuff. Do they actually pay the customer? Like, how does that work? How much longer are they going to remain in business? I'm guessing you meant employees but now I'm not so sure.
-
My brain is full of f***.
-
I work for a company who's marketing department is the dude who puts the logo on trailers. We do just fine. Maybe that's because shippers aren't going to be brainwashed into spending twice the money on an identical product by TV. Marketing, aside from government, is the biggest f***ing waste of money I've ever seen and I do my best to avoid companies I see on TV and in ads because I know the cost of trying to trick me into buying their product is built in to the price of the crap I'm trying to buy. I still sometimes have to eat McDonalds or buy some crap at Target due to major geographic and parking (76 feet long don't park good) limitations but I'm generally proud of the job I do avoiding that crap. If it were a matter of "we charge more because we pay our employees money" I'd be a lot more receptive to buying the s***.
-
When I said "they die off" I was actually talking about Wal Mart and their ilk that rely heavily on desperate/dumb enough to work for them. No employees, no Wally World. As a general rule I won't work for any company that has a marketing department. Ever.
-
Yes this is what I'm starting to realize. This is all that's coming back, no Melton no Garza no Tillman no Hester no Wootton. Maybe McCown, he'd be the one guy I could still see them keeping but even that's doubtful. I guess Taylor Boggs is getting his shot, Kromer likes him so hey there could be something there.

The thing is, if Conte/Wright were not so awful not only do we beat the Packers but we might even win a couple more games. The combined atrociousness of those two cost us a shot. They were so, so bad.

So, are they trying to convince Peanut to play S?
-
Rage. All I feel is rage.

Look outside publically traded companies for work. Seriously, nothing good can come of working for one. But people are stupid/unqualified/generally useless enough to go flip burgers at McDonalds or bag consumer electronics at Wal Mart as a career and then go on b****ing about how they're not living up to some civic responsibility. Are you honestly shocked that these companies that merely exist as investment portfolio stuffers dont give a f*** about anything? The solution is not to stop shopping at them. That's impossible because it goes against our interests, but maybe if the reliable retards who are as low as to even apply at a Wal Mart would stop doing that they'd die off and we'd get some options in here.
-
I am too. They've got their work cut out for them. As of now, I want Clinton-Dix. But if the Bears think Manziel or whoever is around at 14 can be really good two seasons from now they have to gobble him up. Clinton-Dix will probably not be good enough to will this team to the playoffs routinely, whereas a stud QB will. I still think they go defense at 14, but I won't be shocked if they draft a QB.
-
I laugh every single time.
-
If the Bears have a QB they like at 14 they take him. No doubt in my mind, you don't f*** around with that position. If you think defense will hold us back, I'd like to cite 2 decades of ineptitude where this franchise just could not find a QB.
