Just curious, because I sure haven't seen it in any of the articles, but why are they targeting American interests?  I still haven't seen where a major American media outlet has shown the comics yet.  Shouldn't they be burning down and attacking the French, Danish, German, Eygptian etc... interests???

 

Im with you SS2K, it doesnt make sense to me. Some Danish cartooners make offensive cartoons and next thing you know Pakistanis are burning effigies of George Bush and tearing up (sniff*sniff*tear*) KFC's.

There has to be someone somewhere whispering in these peoples ears that America is behind this, because they are all kinds of fired up.

everyone was telling me how great the bonnaroo lineup was and while radiohead is my fav. band i'd only really want to see like 1/5 of the acts and their ticket prices are f***ing expensive and i've heard its always ran rather sloppily

 

When I used to live in Carbondale the cool thing to do in the summer was to go to Bonaroo. I have never heard that it is run sloppy from any of my friends that went, and these people went every year. I heard that the security is really cool and they let you do your thing as long as you arent bothering other people. Nothing but good words about Bonaroo from my friends, but I have never been there.

 

I want to go to Coachella some time. Those same friends of mine went to Coachella also, and they said while Bonaroo was great, Coachella was off the hook.

McNabb has had nothing at WR except for 1 full year of TO. He has averaged 3080 passing yards, 21 passing TDs, 10 INTs, 3.5 rushing TDs, and 367 rushing yards, and he has a 59% completion percentage in the 6 seasons that he was the starting QB at the beginning of the year. He has a record of 65-31 in those 6 seasons.  That is counting 13 missed games. That is almost another whole season right there. He has made it to the NFC Championship game 4 out of 6 seasons. He has been to the Super Bowl once. He has been to the playoffs in every season except last season. In the post season he has 12 games played, 2630 yards passing, 18 passing TDs, 12 INTs, 3 Rushing TDs, 362 Rushing Yards, and a 59% completion percentage. His interceptions are a little high, but other than that it looks pretty damn good. His leading receivers have been Chad Lewis, James Thrash, Todd Pinkston, and Terrell Owens. Isn't that a great group of WRs?

 

So now how is he overrated and who is rating him if he is overrated? What else do you want from him? He is without a doubt a top 5 QB in the NFL.

I went to '92 and '93, some of the best shows ever.

 

I went to 97. It was ok. Tool was friggin amazing as was Snoop, but Korn was a no-show because Munky came down with Menengitis. Tricky was pretty cool to see on stage, because his music is so...out there. But I really enjoyed his show. I didnt enjoy the bass headache that I recieved afterwards though.

The festival was in Pecatonica (small town near Rockford) and the lines were backed up so badly that some people didn't make it in until the show was already half over.

 

Metallica wasnt until 1996, and by then Ferrell started backing off.

I'm still mad about that game in Vegas back in 2001. SIU had the Illini down 5 with 2 minutes left and we blew it. I was getting phone numbers ready to call to talk trash.

 

That year was great. Its a damn shame that the Salukis only had Rolen Roberts for one year of eligibility. He was a beast in 01. He was eating up Emeka Okafor alive in that sweet 16 game(too bad Kent Williams forgot his shot at home throughout the tournament:( )

See, when you say fixed, snipped, cut, manhood taken away, vasectomy, and I just get this "my balls are about to be kicked" feeling. Not good. They need to rename it. Something along the lines of "massage with a feather". You know, so that when I go in, i wont have any idea of how bad it will be. And when I wake up(because there is no f***ing way in hell I would do that procedure while awake) I will think that I have been massaged with a feather. Its all about the psychology of the patient. Dont make him feel like he is getting his balls removed, and maybe he wont feel like his balls are being removed.

I personally agree 100%, but not everyone thinks like that unfortunately.  I know we are having the talk about getting one of us fixed right now.

 

Someday, they will come up with a way to say that and not make me feel ill. I dont have any problems with it, relatives have had the procedure, but just the thought of it makes me uneasy.

Is a second baby shower tacky?

 

Jim's sisters daughter is having another baby (3rd - a girl - she has 2 boys under 6) and they are throwing her a shower. The reason (they said this) is because she doesn't have any girl stuff...?? 

 

Am I crazy or is that just plain stupid logic?

 

I think the etiquette surrounding this situation changes with the families. Some people think they need a baby shower every time they have a kid, some people think just one time. Others have baby showers everytime, but dont ask for gifts after the first baby, they just want everyone to get together to celebrate.

 

I dont think it is really tacky, but thats just me.

Ok, but I will counter that with Cotts in the back row.  He is about the same height as a-row.  I just think its weird that Neal, AJ, Crede are all standing together in the back row, while their good friend Aaron is far away from them.

 

Arow is 6 feet, Neal Cotts is 6'2"-6'3" depending on where you look. Either way, Arow is a short dude and needs to be in the front row. AJ, Crede, Blum, Contreras, they are all around 6'4"-6'5", they definitely need to be in the back.
