I am going to Detroit in two weeks to see the Sox play the Tigers and I have a question about the seating. For one of the games, I have row BB or CC, I just know it's something with double letters. Do the sections start with double letters or single letters?

I had a Red Sox fan next to me who had no clue where the score board was, just learned today that Fisk played for the White Sox, and thought that South Paw was named "Green Monster." That's right, we have a different mascot honoring every team we play. Her husband must have been blind or something because she would get up to cheer and he would ask what happened. She starts screaming because Crisp hit a home run and he's like "oh, did that go out?" Morons.

If you get tix the day of from the box office, you can probably get the VIP tickets behind homeplate (where the families sit). The tickets will be pricey (probably $50 a ticket) but they are great seats.

The only bad experiences I have had are with the parking nazis. One time we were parking, and the lady directing traffic was pretty much right in front of our car (If we had moved up a few feet we would have hit her) and the other parking girl starts screaming at us to move. I have never had a nice parking person, they just seem to be mean and meaner.

My mom was ready to leave in the 7th when it was 9-1 and raining, but I said no. Even though they lost, I am glad we sat through the whole thing. It was probably the best game I have ever been to.

I got one last night and it's a cool little banner, but I don't think I would pay $10+ for it. Maybe $5...

I took about 100 ballots from the game tonight. It will be a nice project for me to do on lunch tomorrow.

The VIP tix are $45 (at least every time I have gotten them, they have been). I went to the May 5th game and tried to buy them and the ticket guy told me they don't go on sale until an hour before game time (although I know I have bought them more than an hour before game time before). And then what was even weirder, I bought tix for the Wednesday Angel's game that day at the park and was able to get the VIP seats. So they don't go on sale until an hour before the game, but I had no problem getting some for a game that was 5 days away. Makes no sense to me...

I didn't win a jersey, but on the first win a jersey day this year I won a free pair of tix to game. My dad went to the game with me and he got the scratch card before me and won a set of tickets too. It was just odd that there are 400 free ticket winners and we had 2 in a row.

There is corn beef & roast beef in the upper level. The only things I ever have a problem getting up there are veggie dogs...sometimes they have them, sometimes they don't. Garden burgers are in the LD, too.
