  1. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 02:03 PM) This article is from today (June 2nd) so I'm not sure that's possible. yah page 13 in that topic happened yesterday
  2. Id give up joe crede but i like having insurence in the minors with Bmac
  3. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 01:37 PM) Wood-never won 15 games Prior-never healthy Zambrano, pitching like last year was over his head Maddux-done Rusch-horrible As for their lineup-they have the most unbalance and incomplete lineup in their division. No lead-off hitter, terrible fundamentals, cant even bunt. Their coaching is horrendous, their defense is below average, should I say more. Can we really make fun of their coaching after what ozzie did last night lol
  4. QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 01:31 PM) I think it's an interesting debate, that's all. Lee is having a mammoth season, Ramirez is certainly a better 3b option than Crede, Nomar is a seriously SS upgrade, Walker is a good offensive 2b, and the Starters are really close comparitively. He may be but not this year right now he isnt even playing and when he left what was his BA.

QUOTE(jerseysox @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 01:26 PM) I don't know what goes on in Minnesota, but I just saw that Morneau left the game early on. Does anyone know what happened? No but if Morneau is injured it makes the division alittle easier to win!
  6. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 01:30 PM) With a .218 average he would feel right at home in the heart of the White Sox line-up. Hash lol
  7. QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 12:56 PM) A little blurb from the official White Sox site today, take it for what it's worth: ------------------ For future notice, Gload, Willie Harris and Timo Perez all have options still remaining, although Perez is unlikely to move from the active roster. Utility player Pablo Ozuna is out of options, meaning he would have to clear waivers if designated for assignment when Gload returns. ------------------ Even if he wasent on waviers ozzie in love with the kid so he would never be sent down
  8. QUOTE(trexer @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 12:40 PM) Wrong. They would continue to walk him, especially if the bases were not loaded. In order to maximize the chances of his being able to get pitches in the strike zone, it would be best to have another high avg hitter in Rowand's place so as to increase the chances of a bases loaded situation when the big guy comes up to the plate. As you saw last night they walk him with the bases loaded to. I love his presance he should bat 4th because then that put pressure on the pitcher to get pods rowand and gooch out!
  9. I saw that too it was preety odd. Even if you look at both teams stats this year there almost identical the sox only have a little lead in homeruns though.

QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 01:02 AM) Lidge will be arb eligible pretty soon, and he's going to make a lot of money. Of course, any trade we would make for him would have to blow their socks off. Sweeney, Tracey, and another highly regarded prospect. Astros need hitting help right now, as well as for their future. I dont see houston trading Lidge anytime soon and i dont think they looking for hitting because i think they have realized there done this year.
  11. QUOTE(sayitanitso @ Jun 2, 2005 -> 12:26 AM) Derrick Lee has been just AMAZING this year, no doubt about it. Look in his locker to see if you can find anything from BALCO. why wasent he at the congress hearings
  12. QUOTE(doUrememberwhen @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 11:02 PM) YEAH U FIXED IT PODZ WOOHOO!!!! Im gunna fix the avator too lol just not now
  13. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 11:00 PM) It could be Walker for El Duque and Frank for Gload. I dont think frank is going anywhere are they putting him on the DL
  14. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 10:56 PM) I called it when the f***er came into the game practically. We should hear the announcement for gload any time now. They might activate hernadez instead
  15. QUOTE(doUrememberwhen @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 10:40 PM) IM SURE THIS HAS ALREADY BEEN BROUGHT UP BUT SCOTTPODS, DID OZZIE TEACH U HOW TO SPELL? Spelling isnt a strong point
  16. i never said Viz was better the Hermanson he was just better tonight
  17. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 10:36 PM) Jizzcan was awesome because he only gave up 2 inherited runs (that don't count against his ERA) and he loaded the bases the next inning. so he gave you a scare in the 7th inning i mean hermanson gave up more runs then him and i dont see people pissed off at him!
  18. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 10:29 PM) That makes it okay! LOL! It dosent make it ok but i thought Viz did ok tonight compared to all the other things that went wrong
  19. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 10:27 PM) No. Gave up two inherited runs. They counted agaist kevin walker not him
  20. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 10:21 PM) I think they knew Walker sucked before tonight. He got out of two jams with runners in scoring position before tonight. Walk-er, Jizzcan, and Dingo all deserve to go. I wasn't on the Baj bandwagon but I am now. Kenny needs to trade for a couple of lefty relievers that can actually get the job done. Viz didnt give up a run tonight and he did a good job stoping the damage the walker had caused.
  21. QUOTE(qwerty @ Jun 1, 2005 -> 10:03 PM) Marte has pitched three and two thirds of an inning in the past two weeks. Ya he couldn't go. Politte has pitched two and two thirds of an inning in the last twelve days. Cotts has enough endurance to go more than three innings in a week no? Yesterday politte threw 1 pitch and got a double play so technically he has only pitched 2 innings
  22. we did just take 4/7 games agaist the angels if this was other years then we probaly would have lost 6 maybe even all 7
  23. thanks but i made my own you like it
  24. Huff would make a great addition to the sox he would be easy to get too if the sox waited till july because the devil rays would love to get rid of the contract
