Hillary Clinton - Why the hate?
QUOTE(Misplaced_Sox @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 04:05 PM) It doesnt matter what you think That's why I support Obama. He at least makes me feel that it matters what I think. He uses the word "We" a lot. Hillary uses the word "I" quite often...although she's been mimicking so much of his campaign that she's been using "we" more regularly now.

- Hillary Clinton - Why the hate?
QUOTE(Misplaced_Sox @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 03:52 PM) The American population favored war on Iraq by 75% of the population at the time. I was 100% against it as was pretty much everyone I associated with back then.- Hillary Clinton - Why the hate?
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 03:18 PM) By the way, I deleted a post from here, trying to keep it civil, as requested. But I accidentally also deleted the one before it - sorry Big Sqwert. Here is BS's post that I DIDN'T intend to delete... I'd rather stay home then pick between two pieces of crap. And neither will get a penny from me in donations. I guess this is a perfect example of why she is considered polarizing. She brings out a lot of mean spirit from people including me. I'll stay out of this thread going forward.- DEM Primaries/Candidates thread
Hillary becoming the Romney of the Democratic campaign. She is not finding new people to join her campaign. She's running out of money. She can't get disenfranchised Republicans to vote for her. And Independents flock to Obama in much higher numbers.- Hillary Clinton - Why the hate?
I didn't necessarily dislike her before this election cycle but the more I see and hear from Hillary and her campaign the more I cannot tolerate the thought of her being in the White House. These are the words and thoughts that pop into my mind when I think of the Clinton campaign: Ruthless Phony Calculating Polarizing Carpetbagger Win at all cost Oligarchy Status Quo Lobbyists Misrepresent Smear Rove-like If she becomes the nominee I will not vote for her in the general and I will not donate or volunteer for the Dems the rest of the year.- SDOGPEIT
QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 01:08 PM) Has anyone seen absentee vs "day-of" voting in California? I'd be VERY interested to see what those numbers are. I'd bet they would reflect what happened in Florida. She had a huge lead there a few weeks ago.- SDOGPEIT
Don't forget he had a rally in Austin last year that had about 20K people attend. This was when he was much more of an unknown and a much bigger underdog.- SDOGPEIT
She is also losing the battle for campaign funds. Rumors going around that the Clintons are digging into their own pockets at this point. Her core supporters are maxed out.- SDOGPEIT
QUOTE(Reddy @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 08:07 AM) lol cept he would've had a lot of support in MO, TN, OK, AK, AL, GA as well. obviously he wouldn't have gotten a lot. but in any case it's pointless. oh well. Hillary sig? I thought Edwards was against the status quo.- DEM Primaries/Candidates thread
QUOTE(Texsox @ Feb 6, 2008 -> 08:50 AM) This is starting to have a Kennedy-esque feel to it. He would be the best looking President since Kennedy. You are really into physical appearance when it comes to candidates.- SDOGPEIT

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 03:26 PM) HAHAHA...that's what it comes to... GWB spoke so poorly that the first guy that comes along and is "so well spoken" we just have to vote for him. nice. To be honest everyone left, on both sides, sounds like a Shakespearian thespian compared to Dubya.- SDOGPEIT
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 03:24 PM) You could ask the same question of Hillary backers, and get the exact same blank stare. I was thinking the same thing. But she does have 35 years of experience. In what I'm not sure.- SDOGPEIT
QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 03:17 PM) I have a HUGE crush on her. I'll watch any time she's on. WOW! is all I can say. STUNNING eyes. Well she's on now. MSNBC.com Live Feed- SDOGPEIT
That Nora O'Donnell on MSNBC is quite a looker. Carry on.- SDOGPEIT
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 02:28 PM) The phrase "death spiral" comes to mind. I think the GOP race may be virtually over after today. McCain looks like he will be winning pretty big, and Huckabee seems to be more in McCain's camp as well. make sure to enable html in your response if you want to show video.- SDOGPEIT
Romney camp issues a bitter response regarding West Virginia. No links yet. Heard it live on MSNBC.- SDOGPEIT
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 01:55 PM) FWIW, Romney had a lead on the first ballot but not a majority, and on the 2nd ballot, the McCain folks all threw their votes to Huckabee to prevent a Romney win. Wow. Now that's what I call a c0ckblock. Pardon my French.- SDOGPEIT
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 01:48 PM) Huckabee wins West Virginia, and all 18 delegates with it. He won 52% of the delegates in the convention-style event, Romney 47%, and McCain 1%. They held a caucus in the middle of the day? I find that to be odd.- For Dems only.
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 01:28 PM) This has to be my favorite political commercial of all time. I thought it was quite funny when I first saw it air.- SDOGPEIT
You can watch MSNBC live by clicking the link on their homepage that says "Watch MSNBC TV's live coverage of Super Tuesday" along the top of the page.- Films Thread
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 4, 2008 -> 08:47 PM) The fact that they had to cut the third season almost in half still pisses me off. A show as good as AD deserves a proper send off, (after say the 12th season or so) hopefully they can get this thing into production and end the story on their terms. Amen- SDOGPEIT
Anyone else going to Obama's Illinois victory rally tonight?- SDOGPEIT
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 5, 2008 -> 09:09 AM) Its American Samoa PLUS other dems abroad - which is 10 pledged according to Wiki, and 11 pledged according to the source I cited. Plus the supers from the pacific rim to make it 22 or 23. I'll take it. Every single delegate is crucial. - Hillary Clinton - Why the hate?
