So while Obama was serving as a State Senator her job at the time was "wife".

QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Jan 11, 2008 -> 08:47 AM) Kucinich wants a recount in NH because of the difference between machine counted votes and hand counted votes. More info at newsobserver.com Good for Dennis.

Interesting take on Michigan. EDIT: By the way, why is Hillary the only Dem on the Michigan ballot? Even though the delegates don;t count there will be people who do not pay very close attention and notice that she "Won easily" in Michigan.

QUOTE(Alpha Dog @ Jan 10, 2008 -> 12:53 PM) The Paul-bots have been pretty quiet the last week or so. I wonder why? They're trying to save enough money to rent hot a air balloon with his name on it.

Or not: NBC: Richardson campaign denies report he is dropping out of Democratic presidential race More details: Richardson may simply suspend his campaign, thus no longer campaigning for the nomination but not endorsing anyone. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 10, 2008 -> 08:13 AM) If Romney can' t win Michigan, he needs to hang it up, regardless of how many delegates he has, and go back to selling used cars or something. If he keeps going after a loss there we'll all what an ego-maniac he is. He'd have zero chance after a Michigan loss.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 10, 2008 -> 09:09 AM) OUt of curiousity, any rumblings on a Gore endorsement? Not that I've heard of. This Kerry endorsement was rumored to have been secured over the past weekend. I think the Obama campaign dropped the ball and got cocky waiting until after NH to announce it. The endorsement could have helped on Tuesday since he's a Senator from New England. Not sure how much people in Nevada and South Carolina care.

An Obama win in NV will give him the momentum in SC in my opinion. Then it might be up for grabs on Feb 5th.

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 9, 2008 -> 01:12 PM) Obama apparently raking in the cash - over a million dollars a day in the new year, including 500k in the first 12 hours of today (after losing NH). I've already donated this morning.

QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Jan 9, 2008 -> 12:27 PM) culinary workers endorsed Obama, Can it be more obvious that CNN is on Clinton's payroll? Their online feed says that Hillary got the endorsement. EDIT: They changed it now but come on. It was all over the blogs this morning that Obama was getting it. How are they so out of touch?

Edwards is killing Obama. There is no way that his 15% would have went mostly to Clinton.

QUOTE(longshot7 @ Jan 8, 2008 -> 12:43 AM) anyone seen The Descent? Horror movie from a few years ago? Saw it yesterday - and it rules......... I thoroughly enjoyed The Descent. I commented on I Am Legend and how lame it was for using CGI monsters instead of what The Descent did.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 8, 2008 -> 11:48 AM) By the way, I think it might be worth noting that Obama has taken several steps to be involved in trying to find a solution to the Kenyan election violence, despite the fact that he's been a bit busy over the last week or so. I have a feeling if Hillary were doing these sorts of things she'd be bragging about it. I find it classy that he isn't shoving it everyone's face.

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jan 8, 2008 -> 10:05 AM) To be honest, that's all Obama has EVER said. He's loose on what's going to change and how it's going to change, but it's about change. And the truth of the matter is, people are so sick of the slimeball factor in politics that his "change" message resonates well, even though he probably has no idea what he's really going to do yet. Go sit on the can and read through this. ObamaBlueprintForChange.pdf
