Watched "Breach" last night. Better than I thought it would be.
  3. The Clinton News Network poll has a dead heat in NH. Both Obama and Clinton at 33%.
  4. Rasmussen now has Obama at 37% and Clinton at 27% in NH. LINK
  5. Zogby's new poll today has Obama gaining 2 percentage points on Clinton. The poll is from Monday through Friday so we can already see the Iowa effect coming into play. Their poll is a rolling poll so tomorrow's should show a tie at least IMO. LINK
  6. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jan 5, 2008 -> 07:19 AM) IF (and that's a big IF) Obama wins NH and then goes to SC and wins there, it's over. A MAJOR gaffe is the only way I see him losing if he wins those 3 states.
  7. Interesting NY Times blog of tonight's NH Democratic Party dinner.
  8. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 4, 2008 -> 01:54 PM) I think it really is a bodily function for him. Joe Biden was right. This guy is a douche.
  9. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Jan 4, 2008 -> 10:55 AM) I don't know that Edwards is done. Depends on what happens in S.C. actually. He spent a lot of money and effort in Iowa, but he has good Union support across the board and that can carry him a few more weeks. A strong third or a surprise second in New Hampshire definitely makes him viable through Tsunami Tuesday. He is polling extremely low in SC. Last time I checked he was getting about 1% of the black vote down there.
  10. QUOTE(Reddy @ Jan 1, 2008 -> 10:04 PM) except for the Register Poll. in that i'm actually right - it's not spin. 60% were new voters and 45% were independents or republicans. That is NOT a good basis for an accurate poll. not even you can deny that.
  11. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jan 3, 2008 -> 09:38 AM) LINK Based on this alone i say: Obama 39% Edwards 28% Clinton 27% Not too shabby of a prediction I must say. *pats self on back*
  12. QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Jan 3, 2008 -> 08:16 PM) Go Obama Go! Obama is pulling away. 439 (35%) 399 (31%) 394 (31%) 61% reporting FIRED UP & READY TO GO! WOOHOO!!
  13. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 3, 2008 -> 07:54 PM) You want to see what close results look like? Obama slowly pulling away from the pack.
  14. Ron Paul's polling firm behind anti-Mormon phone calls.
  15. I don't think Swisher is a good choice for CF. We saw what happened the last time we put a non-CF out there that didn't belong (see: Rob Makowiak). Square peg, round hole.
  16. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Jan 3, 2008 -> 01:15 PM) Wow, I think Swisher is going to be our CF... I believe Orlando Cabrera may be our leadoff hitter this year. Cool. We may beat KC in the standings now.
  17. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jan 3, 2008 -> 11:34 AM) And all of a sudden, McCain is the liberal media darling again. Now why is that? Now I'll tell you... It's because the conservatives have vetted Huckabee and can't stand the idiot. The media was salivating over Huckabee because he would be easy fodder to become the "right wing nut" during the nomination process and leadup to election day. As YASNY pointed out, McCain is nothing but a jackass in an elephant suit, which is why people like NSS like him. Think about it. So who do you support?
  18. I'm surprised. After this long discussion there's no Ron Paul spam mixed in.
  19. Zogby results after 2nd choice taken into consideration: Obama 37.5%, Edwards 33.7%, Clinton 28.8%. LINK
  20. And by the way, Bloomberg says he won't run.
  21. LINK Based on this alone i say: Obama 39% Edwards 28% Clinton 27%
  22. When does this become an official "crisis"? $125/barrel? $150?
