  1. QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jul 25, 2010 -> 10:30 AM) which one? 2.1 or 2.2? I guess 2.2 (Froyo) is getting ready to be released this week for those that have 2.1. It's an over the air update. Currently running 2.1.
  2. QUOTE (3E8 @ Jul 25, 2010 -> 10:15 AM) Don't sit in the upper deck Yeah definitely get tickets in the lower deck. Center field deck is worth checking out as well as the Sox greats statues surrounding it.
  3. No issues with the EVO which runs the android OS.
  4. Didn't we just have the exact same thread a few days ago?
  5. If we limit them to the 5 runs then I like or chances to come back.
  6. Ugh. Might have to go find something better to do this afternoon.
  7. Wasn't Freddy's last bad start also a day game?
  8. He should be pulled soon regardless since he's close to 100 pitches already.
  9. With as awful as AJ has been this year why hasn't Castro seen a little more playing time?
  10. QUOTE (jasonxctf @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 11:57 AM) how much trade value could be lost in the next 7 days by having him DH rather than sit on the bench? No kidding. I'd rather score some runs this week and increase our chances of winning some games.
  11. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 11:35 AM) We probably should have split with Minni and swept Seattle, but hey, remember when the thought of playing in Oakland and Minnesota scared us? If you come away with a .500 record, it's not the end of the world. You'd like 6-4, but 5-5 is acceptable. Especially since everybody else in the division plays like s*** on the road. You responded after my edit. We have a lot of tough teams to play later on so beating up on the mediocre and bad teams is key.
  12. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 11:29 AM) I'll take a .500 road trip, especially since the A's and Twins aren't pushovers. I'd be disappointed going .500 against the likes of Seattle and Oakland. We're a division leader for crying out loud. We need to beat up on these teams. It'd be nice to have a little cushion since we still have to play the like of NY and Boston later on. I would have expected a split at the Twins.
  13. Mark looked brilliant but I was worried that Q's pathetic attempt at that double would have sparked the typical Buehrle meltdown in the coliseum. Fortunately he pitched over it. The Kotsay/AJ combo still angers me. Talk about DFA caliber offense from those guys. Sheesh.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 10:57 AM) If we win this game, we're 5-5 on this road trip. I thought 5-4. 3 losses in Minnesota and 1 in Seattle.
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 10:52 AM) I'm not sure that wouldn't more than offset whatever extra wins we'd get from Fielder in the lineup. It's a question of whether we can continue to get excellent results from our 1-4 while going .500 during the 5th starter's games. If we could get that done with Fielder in our lineup than we should lock up the division and make the 5th slot a moot point in October. Of course that puts a ton of pressure on our 1-4 to get the job done but with added offense it might not be so bad.
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 10:48 AM) Who fills the 5th starter spot? Stretch out Pena and find someone to take his spot in the pen?
  17. QUOTE (since56 @ Jul 24, 2010 -> 09:50 AM) Can't Coop fix him? After breaking Peavy's muscles Coop is deemed unreliable.
  18. If we were to make the playoffs I wouldn't be surprised if we got swept with our inept offense.
  19. That was a perfect example of Carlos costing us a run because of his D. Jones would've had that easily.
  20. Mark joins Gavin in lowering his ERA under 4.
