  1. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 09:26 AM) This move makes sense It would have made more sense on April 1st though.
  2. QUOTE (jasonxctf @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 09:14 AM) im going to go out on a limb here and give McDonalds some credit. 5 years ago, I'd say that yes, they carry have heavy burden (no pun intended) to the obesity issue here in the US. Since then, I think they've gotten a lot better. The burgers are still there, however in the kids meals they offer apples and milk instead of fries and coke. For adults, they got those garden salads along with the grilled chicken sandwiches. The problem now sits with the individual consumer who chooses (like I do) for the crap food rather than the healthy stuff. Now my only excuse is that I'm 6'3 and 170lbs. Milk is garbage.

For every home run the Sox hit Alex Snelius will donate $100 to White Sox charities in loving memory of Ursula.
  4. QUOTE (Tex @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 08:59 AM) Wouldn't most people with a million dollars think twice before committing those resources in a poor neighborhood? It seems like a risk reward formula. Higher risk with higher potential rewards has a store in a poor neighborhood without competition. Lower risk, with lower rewards, operating in a middle class neighborhood. McDonald's is unfortunately part of the food pyramid in poor neighborhoods.
  5. QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 07:07 PM) I think that's everywhere now. Not where I live.

You can cancel the post game show.
  9. Just give up the HR here so I can go to bed. We all know it's coming.
  10. I hate Ozzie Guillen. And no greg. He's not "da man".
  11. Ugh. Linebrink. WTF Ozzie.
  12. Can we score off Soria?
  13. Dammit. Why did Williams need to pitch tonight?
  14. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 07:57 PM) Who had the prop bet on a Vizquel triple tonight? This might be our only chance to score off him.
  15. I'm getting tired of Pierre.

Let's take turns listing Hawkisms. One at a time. I'll go first. "Get foul. It will."
  17. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 06:12 PM) This thread is getting ridiculous. Yes, let's all spend our time arguing about the worst players in our history. How productive. I swear you're Ned Flanders.
  18. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 04:48 PM) Was this supposed to be in green? Or did he punchyou in a bar? Or yu jealous of his hot wife? HAHA This actually made me laugh.
  19. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 04:40 PM) How can it blow up in our face? Even if he fails, he's the BEST OPTION. Meaning if you're showcasing him for a trade why would you bench him against mediocre pitchers and start him against Greinke?
  20. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 04:21 PM) trade bait That could blow up in our face with Greinke most likely making him look foolish tonight.
  21. QUOTE (chisox2334 @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 04:07 PM) it's called stop crying about kotsay. What's wrong with kotsay playing tonight? do you want jones or lillibridge instead? I want Jones to DH while using Lillibridge as his bat.
  22. QUOTE (chisox2334 @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 03:49 PM) people crying about kotsay when jones is just hitting everything lmao Huh?
  23. QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 03:47 PM) I think all of these prices will fall dramatically as we get closer to the trade deadline. I guess we just have to be patient and wait it out. With our current offense that might be too late.
  24. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 03:21 PM) It'll take quite a bit for that to happen, and Fielder's not a free agent until after next season, so Milwaukee has some time to deal him. Ah. For some reason I thought he was going to free agency this off season.
