    That's hilarious. I enjoyed the friction between those two.
  2. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 09:12 AM) I like what you are saying, but this is an effort in futility. He wont stop, just let it go Ozzie is da man!

  4. Brazil already up 1. Should be a pretty easy win for them.
  5. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 08:49 AM) So now heart attacks and stroke are the same as cancer. Touche. But I've done a ton of research since I've changed my diet/lifestyle and study after study shows that people on primarily plant based diets have much lower cancer rates.
  6. Dang. Sorry to hear that Ace. Just noticed your post.
  7. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 08:45 AM) That's exactly what I mean, and I agree -- I don't know how many times I've seen such studies show that X prevents cancer, and then five or so years later a similar study shows X causes cancer. I'm not saying certain things won't raise the risks, but I've also come to the conclusion that this is a genetic flaw, and sometime it will be eradicated through genetics, not through what we eat. I guess that's why doctors recommend a diet consisting of bacon, blue cheese and spam after someone has a heart attack.

    For real. After all of these years has he not learned to just look at the closest outfielder to judge whether the ball is catchable?
  9. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 08:37 AM) I think they will. Watching that battery usage monitor, after I took down some hogging processes (bluetooth I don't use, GPS I rarely us and can one-click it back on, G-Talk whatever the hell that is), the biggest hog on the battery is "cell standby". Its not the screen or running programs anymore, its when it has to search for a cell signal, like when I'm inside a bldg with bad signal. No way that needs to take up that much power, hell my BB was used in the same locations with the same wireless provider and lasted me 3 days at a time. I'd bet they will find some processing efficiencies there. G-Talk is google chat. BTW, big fan of the Battery Left Widget. They have a 1x1 widget that I use on my home screen that shows % remaining as well as hours/minutes remaining.
  10. QUOTE (Pants Rowland @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 10:36 PM) You and your f***ing blog just wasted 20 minutes of my life. Trololololo. Funny stuff. Tonight. Bye bye!
  11. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 2, 2010 -> 08:30 AM) Other than the power issue, which I have been able to improve on with some tweaks an a stronger battery, I have so far LOVED my Android Incredible. I'm hoping when OS 2.2 comes around for both of us that there will be some noticeable improvements on battery performance. The EVO had an over the air update this past week and it seems like my battery has improved but I could always use a little more juice.
  12. Parents of the year...
  13. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 30, 2010 -> 01:56 PM) New Droid X Ad - BTW, Engadget's review of the Droid X is not as good as the EVO or iPhone 4. Droid X: 7/10 EVO: 9/10 iPhone4: 9/10
  14. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 09:56 PM) Cuz baseball is a funny game. Funny how? How the f*** is it funny?
  15. If that's the case I would assume the available tickets in this program would run out rather easily if it's obvious a team is going to the post season.
  16. QUOTE (docsox24 @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 04:12 PM) So who is going to take the risk with our sox? Is this only open for a specific time frame? I didn't catch a deadline.
  17. How many of those are Kap?
  18. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 02:24 PM) BigSqwert, The IGF in milk is causing cancers? Ok, show us some studies about this. http://vvv.com/healthnews/milk.html http://www.pcrm.org/magazine/GM00Winter/GM00Win3.html QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 02:24 PM) The Harvard Nurse Study showed that "those nations with the highest amount of milk/dairy consumption also have the highest rates of osteoporosis." even though all the participants were Americans? This fact has been established for many years. Pick up a book like The China Study which chronicles decades-long research on the matter. EDIT: And this is my last post on this subject. Don't want to open up another can of worms on this topic.

  21. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 12:24 PM) Masset has been terrible again this year. I take it he hasn't been much of an asset for the Reds. Uff.
  22. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 10:15 AM) Rense.com? I'm surprised that article doesn't say Jews puts Martian AIDS into our milk. Please debunk any of it.

    All the references to the heiney bird a few years back were hilarious.
