  1. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 13, 2010 -> 08:40 PM) I think she has one of the best looking natural racks out there. Natural? That s*** didn't bounce one time during her performance.

    I found it interesting that they decided to finish Funny People without the use of a film editor.
  3. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jun 12, 2010 -> 04:17 PM) For manager, i'd like a sabermetric oriented guy who knows how to work matchups and construct a lineup that maximizes scoring chances. Basically, a younger Earl Weaver/Davey Johnson. I also think Kalapse would be a good fit.
  4. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 03:13 PM) I don't feel like going back through the thread, but I believe someone mentioned that they probably picked Perry to draw attention and cause conversation. That is looking more and more accurate. I caught her performance on the MTV movie awards while flipping through channels the other day. God she looked awful. Super fake/plastic and showed zero rhythm.
  5. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 13, 2010 -> 09:36 AM) Surf's Up! Where's the oil!
  6. This team is fun to watch when we're winning.

    QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 05:17 PM) You have a vagina. Yeah I need to start watching cinematic masterpieces such as Land of the Lost and The Spirit.
  8. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 04:12 PM) He picked an ideal time to start hitting too. It's good to see. An ideal time to start hitting would be the first week of the season.
  9. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jun 11, 2010 -> 07:11 AM) Out of MLB, NHL, NBA and the NFL. I would say MLB. You got one team that hasn't won it in 100 years. Two teams that went over 80 years without winning it and all three of those teams are the big franchises, not small market teams. A lot of teams have never come close to winning it. I think its because of the small amount of teams that make the playoffs every year and the time it takes to rebuild a franchise. I disagree. If you spend more money than anyone else your chances of winning a title increase tremendously. The lack of a salary cap favors the top tier (in spending) franchises. Just look at the titles the Yankees and Red Sox have won in the last decade. Of course it was different prior to free agency. BTW, I voted the World Cup. Only 7 different nations have ever won it.
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 10, 2010 -> 04:34 PM) Sorry BS. Thanks. That call felt like a punch to the gut.
  11. QUOTE (T R U @ Jun 10, 2010 -> 02:31 PM) While this is true.. I think that it would be a lot better with words substituted for the swears instead of them being "f***" That would get old after 5 minutes.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 10, 2010 -> 02:17 PM) They aren't already? It's going to be interesting watching AL teams battle to win the Wild Card, while the Twins win the division by 8-10 games. No way. I was told that the Twins would come back down to earth and I was an alarmist.
  13. QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Jun 10, 2010 -> 02:08 PM) Tell the idiot to start pitching like a man and then maybe someone would consider taking on that ridiculous contract. Or, better yet, agree to rip up the contract and go on his merry way to wherever the F*&K he wants....
  14. Odd to see so many defending the killing of a 14 year old kid.
  15. The President of the United States talks to the Pretend President of Facebook
  16. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 9, 2010 -> 08:10 PM) How is it people here don't get this yet? 1. KW doesn't do rebuilding. 2. The Sox realize that they can't dive into a 3-4 year rebuilding expedition, because the fan base won't show up. They retool on the fly, that's what they do. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, though the past decade (2000-2009) has been the most successful for any Chicago baseball franchise in the modern era, so it obviously works more often than not. I'm as frustrated as anyone, but everyone should just forget the idea of some huge 5+ player purge and rebuilding exercise. Not happening. It's too bad the strike broke up the mojo our team had in the 90's. We had something like the 3rd best record in baseball from 90-94.
  17. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 9, 2010 -> 05:42 PM) What guys are great to have around when the team blows? Alex Rios
