"Chicago White Sox third baseman Gordon Beckham, pictured above, is seen putting together care packages to the plethora of major league pitchers that he has caused to be DFA'd (designated for assignment)."

Wow....seems like lots of SoxTalk will be there. I will be in attendance as well....unfortunately in the way UD I believe.
Hopefully the rain goes away.
Keep your head in the game. Beckham might foul bunt one to the corner of the UD.
Rumor has it Pavano asked to be traded because he would be facing Beckham tomorrow. I expect him to ask for another trade when he is due to face us as a Twin.

We suck against Pavano. This is a good thing.
It's a good thing that a team that we're fighting with for the division title acquired him?
I saw him at an Al Gore dinner last year and he looked like a mess. If I didn't know he was the mayor I'd have thought he was some schlub off the street. Hair was messy, suit didn't fit well, goofy mannerisms.
Like others have mentioned above, I think he's been swinging the bat rather nicely of late. Honestly I'm surprised Kotsay didn't play for Dye yesterday with the way Dye's been playing the last few games. Quentin seems on the verge of a breakout game and I thought Santana would have been the perfect pitcher to go up against.

Mad Men is phenomenal, I've been watching it for years. Anyone who doesn't watch needs to catch up.
It's no Becker.
