  1. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Apr 27, 2009 -> 02:02 PM) I can't tell whether you are kidding or not (i think you are), because taking Heyward-Bey over Crabtree and then drafting Mitchell 4 rounds too early do not point to a great draft. Which as a die hard KC Chiefs fan doesnt bother me at all I am in fact a die hard Raiders fan and the team just makes me want to cry. Davis needs to pull a Wurtz.
  2. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 27, 2009 -> 01:13 PM) looks iffy possibility of scattered thunderstorms that may produce nickel-size hail, wind gusts of up to 60 m.p.h. and possible flooding
  3. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 27, 2009 -> 01:42 PM) Kyle is dying.. cause of the outstanding draft that Oakland made. As a die hard Raider fan I'm blown away by their ability to draft. This has to be their greatest draft ever.
  4. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Apr 27, 2009 -> 12:53 PM) um, is death an option? I'll mark you down as "great draft".
  5. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Apr 27, 2009 -> 01:15 PM) I use it as a contact number for bills and such. I dont want them selling off my cell number. I haven't had a land line in 11 years and have had no problems with telemarketers.
  6. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 27, 2009 -> 01:12 PM) not sure this one is gonna get played looks iffy
  7. I don't understand why anyone would need a land line anymore.
  8. Oakland Raiders....great draft or the greatest draft?
  9. Whoever said the following is clearly a terrorist sympathizer:
  10. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Apr 27, 2009 -> 10:48 AM) Between this and the hilarious "volcano monitoring" timing, t's almost as if nature is out to make the GOP look like idiots. Now all we need if for coastal cities across the globe to become submerged for the trifecta.

Watched "Let the Right One In" last night. Unfortunately watched the version with the crappy subtitles. For some reason the dvd doesn't have the original theatrical subtitles. Lot of people complaining about that on amazon. Still enjoyed it but I can see how better translated subtitles would have enhanced my experience. I think a 14 year old did the translation on the dvd.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 26, 2009 -> 03:27 PM) Texas requests help from federal government in preparing for swine flu. Federal government laughs, says "No you secessionist bastard". If only the world was that funny.... Damn Texas socialists. Guess we'll have to foot the bill for their vaccinations?
  15. QUOTE (lostfan @ Apr 25, 2009 -> 03:43 PM) I feel so bad for Raiders fans. *sigh* Why won't Davis just die already?
  16. Curious what effect factory farming has had on methane levels. When did those start popping up in the '50s?
  17. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Apr 25, 2009 -> 01:27 PM) if you are going to insist on destroying the environment you can make ammends by purchasing some carbon credits from my new 'green' business. i sell carbon offsets! just send a money order made out to cash. I'll walk over a check. Don't want the post office driving it all over the place pumping co2 into the air.
  18. Went to the Daniel Tosh show last night at the Congress. Hilarious. He even picked on me for a second.
  19. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Apr 25, 2009 -> 12:22 PM) posting on Soxtalk causes global warming, bigsqwert. just something to keep in mind. What's there to keep in mind? Unless I kill myself there's no way to make zero impact on the environment but I do my best.
  20. I think lostfan's sig sums it up best. Good day sir.
  21. QUOTE (BearSox @ Apr 25, 2009 -> 08:52 AM) Fine, if you want it that way. But the Geneva Convention doesn't apply to Al Qaeda. I'll just continue to side with the other 43 presidents on this one. You can keep using your asterisk based rationalizations for immorality.
  22. QUOTE (BearSox @ Apr 25, 2009 -> 08:49 AM) Oh yeah, I'm sure they'd reveal all their plans over a nice cup of tea. Reagan was anti-torture. Was he a bad president?
  23. Why did Ronald Reagan want to drink a cup of coffee with people who wanted to kill Americans? Link
