QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 31, 2008 -> 03:19 PM) It would clear the way for the other Daley to win the Governor's race. That makes sense. Win? I don't think the Daley name is well respected across the state.

So for those who received invites for the Grant Park rally, have you actually been emailed a ticket yet? I signed up when they sent me the invite and haven't seen anything yet. Regardless if I get a ticket or not I will be down there with my wife and a group of friends...wearing my Sox cap of course. Gotta reprazent. So the roll call for Tuesday so far is: BigSqwert

WTF?!?!- Entourage
QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Oct 30, 2008 -> 12:27 PM) Maybe that's an occurrence which came up. It's a good plotline. He has a choice to make in which he would be in a ton of power, cast whoever he wants for movies and for movies he wants to make all while making 10 million a year. You forget though, he runs his own agency right now, he's his own boss and Vinny and the guys are basically his best friends. Plus his wife doesn't like the fact that he would be working with Dana Gordon if he did take the job. There are a ton of people who rather live comfortably with friends and family than live an extravagant lifestyle. I mean he already has a Ferrari, a nice huge house, could buy his family anything they want. So what more else is there? I'm starting to think you're a writer for the show or something.- 2008 General Election Discussion Thread
The Economist endorses Obama.- Indispensible Travel Tools
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 30, 2008 -> 11:04 AM) Ugh, its the most annoying thing in the world. Its all different types too, the lady who didnt take off her 10lbs of silver jewelry, the guys who cant figure out that they need to take off their giant belt buckle. Its especially annoying for people that are on their 3rd or 4th trip in a week and all you want to do is get to the damn red carpet club to go to the bathroom because you've been holding it since the morning coffee. I seriously just got annoyed just thinking about it. For real. And they never start preparing while standing in line. They wait until they get all the way to the baskets before they do anything whatsoever.- The Democrat Thread
More divisive talk from the GOP. Pathetic.- Indispensible Travel Tools
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 30, 2008 -> 10:55 AM) I literally can get through airport security in less than a min if there is no line. As a business traveler is there anything more annoying than a novice in front of you in the security line?- My idea to revamp political campaigns
Anyone in favor of a 6 year term for President?- The Democrat Thread
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 30, 2008 -> 07:58 AM) McCain's campaign just keeps getting worse at this game, instead of better. Is it just me or does their campaign focus on something completely different every other day? Ayers, ACORN, socialism, taxes, national security, the LA Times, etc. I've never seem such awful message discipline for a presidential campaign.- Favorite Politician
QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Oct 29, 2008 -> 08:00 PM) I really love Jan Schakowsky, couldn't be more proud to have her as my US representative in the House. It was very cool to sit down and chat with her for a few minutes at the Obama volunteer HQ earlier this year. Very down to Earth.- The Democrat Thread
