QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 6, 2010 -> 05:04 PM) And somehow that means that I am only OK with Obamatons? Seriously? Well, your talking points about dissent seem to parrot MSNBC. The majority of people whom disapprove of Obama's policies are just racist haters! and yes, I'm sure some people are just Obama haters for that reason, but it's a small minority. so do your Dems. These current protesters, 'tea party' or whatever, are not all that radical compared to the Democrat protesters I've seen the past 10 years.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 5, 2010 -> 07:07 PM) So... since I find Tom Tacredo to be a hate-mongering asshole (which I do), that means I only think Obama fanatics are not haters? Is there no middle ground between Tom Tancredo and Barack Obama? WTF? I WILL QUOTE YOU EXACTLY too hateful even for that crowd? talk about no middle ground. nice try to bulls*** your way out of it though.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 5, 2010 -> 05:43 PM) um... give what a rest? Honestly, not trying to bait you, I don't get it. i know you're not trying to bait me and i don't care about the 'tea party' convention. but this absurd notion that anyone that isn't an Obama fanatic is just a hater is blindly stupid. if you don't want to be associated with such nonsense, perhaps you could re-read your post and modify.

Forgive Student Loan Debt to Stimulate the Economy
A lot of people who graduated during this recession are definitely in rough shape. I would support some type of additional grace period for paying back student loans.

Forgive Student Loan Debt to Stimulate the Economy
QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 2, 2010 -> 06:02 PM) That's not what Obama is suggesting. He's saying loan payments should be limited to 10% of wages over a 20 year period, and a 10 year period if you go into public service. I was responding to the website posted. It talks about 'forgiving student loans'. I take that as meaning the debt is removed. I don't know anything about the Obama proposal. haha, trust me, I don't assume that.

Forgive Student Loan Debt to Stimulate the Economy
and where are we going to get the money to pay off every single student loan out there? also, is this an endless forgiving of loans? why should certain people get a pass while everyone before and after has to pay?

QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 26, 2010 -> 08:43 PM) Sounds plausible if it doesn't reduce quality/availability of care but I don't know enough to be able to speak intelligently on it. How are we going to get more Indian doctors though? Have an unlimited supply of Green Cards for Doctors that can pass certain levels of educational requirements. Currently there a limits on the spaces available to attend medical school, so f*** that, juice up on overseas schools. They would also have to pass exams. Trust me on this, there are a whole lot of Indians willing to learn just about anything to get a green card. Availability to care would increase. Now, I'm not going to lie here, the 'instant green card' doctors aren't going to necessarily be the best around, but good enough and comparatively cheap. Maybe have the green card doctors do the easier type of stuff for a minimum of 5 years at a certain wage (low wage of course). After that time they are free to work wherever they want without wage restriction. They can start a private practice as well, if they so choose.
