Fenway is great. Wrigley, by far, is the worst stadium in all professional sports.

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Nov 15, 2005 -> 10:44 PM) Duh...it's just "Diddy" now. Oh yea, i knew that, i knew that...diddy.

I thought it would be P Diddy again.

Wow, that is pretty bad...even for the Cubune.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Nov 14, 2005 -> 10:03 PM) Actually he is rebuilding from the bottom up which is his strength. That could be huge. I dislike his rhetoric. He'll lose more votes than he gains if he doesn't tone it down. Democrats are most potent when using an approach closer to that of Bill Clinton.

QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Nov 14, 2005 -> 09:53 PM) Kinda like Howard Dean when he refers to anything Bush, with fear, hatred and believing that morality (the Dem way) is the only valid way. I just heard his quote this mornign that went somethign like "We don't have to come up with ideas to help the country because we aren't in power". What a loser. If you're a Republican you gotta admit the guy is probably one of the best things to happen in a while. He's makes his party look so bad.

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Nov 14, 2005 -> 09:53 PM) No combination of "PA" and "gang" will never be used in the same sentence. So you're saying they will be used * ding ding *

QUOTE(Mercy! @ Nov 14, 2005 -> 09:18 PM) I, too, am really down on our two party system. But third parties are too rare on the national stage to put any effort into. I often wish that we had a parliamentary system, with true proportional representation requiring coalitions to form and work together around shared issues. I think minorities of all stripes can feel that they have more of a stake in society that way. And I darn well don’t like our winner take all electoral college, despite understanding why it was originally conceived. You sure don’t see us holding it up as a neat way to decide national elections in those “emerging democracies” do you? I think there is a silent majority that is fed up with the two party system. Unfortunately, people are afraid to vote for anyone other than a Democrat or Republican because if they do they are preached to about how they elected the 'evil Democrat/evil Republican' that won. As far as winner take all... thats not completely how it works. States rights are important to make sure a slight majority doesn't dictate to minority how and what they can do. If an individual wishes to live in a more liberal or conservative atmosphere they have the choice of which state they reside in. Example: Laws in California and laws in Mississippi vary in many ways.

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Nov 14, 2005 -> 08:48 PM) I really, really, really wish that there were a viable third party option, however, the two dominant parties have worked together to put a stop to that pretty much. Isn't it amazing that they are "bipartisian" on that deal? What, you want more than 2 political choices? Thats just un-American. lol Yea, legitimate 3rd parties would be great. I usually vote third party just out of principle. I don't always agree with all their policies and I know they will lose, but it is important to get a more diverse political atmosphere. I'm such a self-rightous martyr. mr_genius in 08'

Bears impending QB "controversy"?

QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Nov 13, 2005 -> 09:44 PM) Cadillac Williams Stats: 496 YDS, 2 TD's, Projected- 992 YDS, 4 TD's Ronnie Brown: 611 YDS 3 TD's Brown is possible but playing in a 2 Back system will hurt his chances. Brown is currently projected to get over 1200 yards. He is splitting carries with Rickey Williams, but I would expect Brown to get between 15 and 25 carries a game. Williams had 13 yards on 11 attempts this week. Cadillac has been injured, but I think he'll be healthy soon and ready to put up big numbers again. -

QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Nov 13, 2005 -> 07:56 PM) who on offense has had a better year as a rookie. He will end up leading (by that i mean because he is a QB and the QB is technically the leader on the field when his team has the ball) to the playoffs. For a Rookie QB on a team that everyone picked for last that will win you Offensive ROY. I understand were you are coming from, but Orton doesn't have the stats to be the ROY. Ronnie Brown and Cadillac would be the front runners as far as I am concerned. -
QUOTE(knightni @ Nov 13, 2005 -> 09:29 PM) Blue jerseys with orange pants wouldn't be bad. you guys are insane, or colorblind... lol

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Nov 13, 2005 -> 05:59 PM) Their 6-3 record is really great. Id feel a lot better though if they can beat someone who doesn't totally suck. I guess we'll see how good they really are when they play Carolina next week. The Bears also have games against Atlanta and Pittsburg later in the season. Other than those three games, the rest seem very winnable.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Nov 13, 2005 -> 06:09 PM) Just gotta say I loved the orange uniforms. Really? I hate em. I wish they would never wear them again.

A public institution should not be allowed to discriminate based on race or sex. "Several white women who have "overcome hardship" have been awarded the Graduate Dean's Fellowship, even though women outnumber men at the university. White men need not apply, however. "I'll be upfront with you -- no white male will get this award,'' McNeil said." Wow, what an ass this McNeil guy is. He may be a privileged white male, but not all white males were born with a silver spoon in their mouths; as I am guessing this idiot was.

QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Nov 13, 2005 -> 11:59 AM) he is a f***in rookie. And right now his probably the ROY. Why replace that with a guy who you don't know what you will get. no way Orton is Rookie of the Year Orton isn't a good QB. He might be a serviceable QB in the future. The Bears are winning because of a combination of being in a weak division, good defense and a decent running game. The offense, as a whole, is weak because of the QB position. Grossman? meh, the guy can't stay healthy for more than 4 games. He'll probably end up being a bust, as are most of the Bears recent 1st round picks. -
QUOTE(WSNS-TV44 @ Nov 8, 2005 -> 11:36 AM) OH,MY F***IN' GOD!This is pathetic. There gonna do a Cubs "Press Conference"?Forget Steve Phillips,why they have this guy playing the Cubs GM...... haha

QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Nov 13, 2005 -> 01:07 PM) The minute we get excited about Benson (OUT... probably for more than just this year) meh, i've never really been all that excited about Benson. Bad pick IMO.
