Ken Griffey Jr. + Cash to the White Sox
QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 31, 2008 -> 12:10 PM) I bet Swisher gives up #30. I went over this earlier in the shower this morning when I first heard. haha. Anyway. 3 Baines 30 Swish 33 Vazquez 24 Crede 42 Jackie What does that leave? Swisher's got too much marketing tied up in Dirty 30 to give that up. Vaz could go back to his old 22 if Fields gave it up. Other than that, you start anew (Crede shouldn't switch numbers). Here are my suggestions. 32 (BA would switch) 44 (Hall would switch) 43 (Wasserman would switch) 94 31 (Wise would switch)

Ken Griffey Jr. + Cash to the White Sox
QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 31, 2008 -> 11:35 AM) Yeah probably time to turn off the xboxes. Wow, when did you come up with that one? I've never heard a comment like that before, certainly haven't see one posted on soxtalk like that. Why wouldn't Beane jump at the chance to get Swisher back. Swish, Poreda, and a throw in for Street and Duchscherer is a realistic possibility.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jul 31, 2008 -> 11:34 AM) Give him a break. 95% of the time that station is garbage or commercials. Stone was just on for the last 45 minutes.

Ken Griffey Jr. + Cash to the White Sox
QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 31, 2008 -> 11:31 AM) Duscherer and Street for Swisher and someone else maybe. Street is crap. That's what I was thinking. That would be a heavenly trade.

QUOTE (JFields27 @ Jul 31, 2008 -> 11:31 AM) same, cant even think about putting on 670 if the sox arent on Yeah, 670's only had Steve Stone on for the majority of the morning (including right now). That guy doesn't know ANYTHING compared to Mark Silverman. Please tell me I don't need green...

QUOTE (Texsox @ Jul 31, 2008 -> 08:11 AM) Any of our starting corner OF would return a top SP. Trading Dye would be dumb, trading Quentin is out of the question.

I must say, last night I saw Junior park one and thought "wow, Junior's really heating up..." Who knows? Maybe he hits .280 from here on out, but I still don't get it.
