The Dark Knight
Plot Holes: However, all that being said, I adored the movie and will buy it the day it came out, and MIGHT see it again in the theaters. I wish there was more Bruce Wayne down time, but it was what it was and Ledger deserves a posthumous nod.

The Dark Knight
Let me elaborate on why this film was incedible. Despite a few glaring plot holes, every aspect of the film... whether it be the acting, directing, writing, or special effects, was spot on. I'm glad they went with really blowing stuff instead of CGI. Ledger's performance is breathtaking... he literally owns the screen the entire film. That was the quickest 2.5 hours I've experienced in a film. I could have sat there for 5 more hours and completely enjoyed myself. I will continue later.

QUOTE (Flash Tizzle @ Jul 19, 2008 -> 05:41 AM) Terrible. Quite possibly the worst movie ever created. This includes Strange Wilderness. I had to remind myself it was Heath Ledger playing joker and not some retard with makeup on. Anyone who says something like that shouldn't have spent the $10+ to see it. You obviously weren't going to like it from the get-go (if you are being serious.)

QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Jul 18, 2008 -> 10:39 PM) un-f***ing-believable. Heath Ledger commanded the entire movie. So many things to talk about, but I cannot pick out just one. That. It was phenomenal. There were some un-expected plot holes, but the movie was well done on the whole.

I personally believe #7 should be retired, and the announcement should be at Wrigley on January 1st.

I would have thought GOD could get there rather easily without a vehicle. EDIT: a little late and less funny with that one.

QUOTE (DBAH0 @ Jul 17, 2008 -> 11:17 AM) Wouldn't it be worth just offering Khabibulin and say Barker for Kopitar and not getting Ottawa involved (and offer picks and prospects if you have to get a deal done)? Having a 1-2 punch of Toews and Kopitar would be Crosby and Malkin like. The only issue would be how would you re-sign all 3 once they hit RFA I guess. Well, I think these trade rumors were BS. LA has no reason to move Kopitar... Maybe if you offered something like Khabibulin, Barker, 1st rounder, and Skille you'd have something though... but I think Barker's just going to be a late bloomer and could be very important to the team.

QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Jul 16, 2008 -> 03:49 PM) ***UPDATE (4:10) Despite speculation indicating the deal had fallen through, talks continue. The deal is still very much in the works. One can only assume that this is the most complicated trade in the history of the NHL based on the amount of effort being put into it. Perhaps not, but regardless...patience Sens fans, something is in the works here.*** http://senschirp.blogspot.com/ To me this is sounding more and more like a mess. To me it's sounding more and more like it's going to happen. The question is do we get Kopitar or that other mess of players?

QUOTE (DBAH0 @ Jul 16, 2008 -> 02:26 PM) My guess is we give up at least the 2nd round pick we got from Calgary for Bourque. Got to be draft picks involved. If we get Kopitar and the biggest pieces we move are Barker and Khabby, then it's the steal of the century. That's all I'm sayin'.

QUOTE (DBAH0 @ Jul 16, 2008 -> 02:19 PM) My guess is it's Barker. With the signing of Campbell, there's no need for Barker to become the point man on the PP in the future. Would this make Robert Lang expendable at all as well? But getting Kopitar and Neil for Khabibulin and Barker is a very good salary dump (albeit losing Cam would hurt). It just seems unrealistic and not plausible at all.

QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Jul 15, 2008 -> 12:17 PM) Hawks just signed Doug Janik.....http://nhlpa.com/WebStats/PlayerBiography.asp?ID=7199 Makes me think even more a deal is in the works....why keep loading up with 6th and 7th Dmen? Al Cimaglia Is Something Cooking ??? July 15, 2008, 3:11 PM ET [33 Comments] This news has not been substantiated through a press release yet, but it appears the Hawks have signed two defensemen. The first is Doug Janik, a 28 year old defender who played for the Lightning last season and was an UFA. The other defenseman is Aaron Johnson who is 25 years old and played 30 games for the Islanders last season. I show Johnson listed as a RFA although I do not know any other details at this time involving this transaction. Both players earned $475,000 last year. Both players shoot left and could be coming to Chicago as a precursor to a trade of another defenseman. Cam Barker is another left hander shooter from the Blue Line...hnmm.... Hmmm. Hopefully DT's got something real good cooking. Once again he makes a pre-emptive move that depends on someone else not backing out.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 22, 2008 -> 06:51 PM) Right now I'd put that over under at 125 and probably take the over. I was down in Texas last week and saw this kid first hand. I personally think he's the most talented player in all of baseball when considering all facets of the game. He hit a ball that was still going up as it got to the 2nd deck. He runs like a deer in the outfield and can get to any ball. His speed on the basepaths is ridiculous. Seriously, he's amazing. Yeah, my over still looks like an easy win... and my feelings that he's the most talented all-around player in baseball remain unscathed.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 16, 2008 -> 12:26 AM) This farce needs to end. They need to call it right now and have the remaining players in the lineups hit in an impromptu hr derby. 3 swings each. Or just reward homefield advantage to best overall record like it should be.
