Obviously he would play CF (until he got injured), with Swisher moving to 1B...and Konerko to the bench. I don't think that's worth Fields, the Reds just want to get out from under his contract and play youngsters, and we have no options then if Crede is gone besides Juan Uribe!

Maybe we unloaded someone like Broadway, Haeger or Richard.

The score seems to think that we are stuck in 1999. Jr plays a worse CF than Swish. It would be like throwing JD out there. Q would probably play a better CF at this point.

Interesting. I would imagine the player we gave up depends on how much salary we were willing to pick it up. If we take over his salary, I can't imagine us giving up much. If we get them to pay, it might be someone decent.

Yeah Mulligan is really excited for no real reason.
