  1. I think we can all see how this will end up. It's the Sox post 2006. Rangers will add to their insane offense.
  2. This is hell on Earth. Where did the Rangers come from?
  3. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 08:35 PM) Back to fun. :-)
  4. QUOTE (Baron @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 08:33 PM) @Evan_P_Grant: As interested as #Rangers are in Abreu, I'm hearing White Sox are still expected to get him at $68 million. https://twitter.com/Evan_P_Grant Rangers beat writer Best update ever.
  5. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 08:32 PM) The time stamp says 4:51 pm. Even central time that's well before Rosenthals latest stuff. Yeah, but when updating a blog post it doesn't update the time.
  6. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 08:30 PM) It was fun while it lasted.
  7. OK. Rosenthal said this s*** is done and even gave numbers. Some worthless beat reporter of the biggest joke team in the league isn't going to convince me. GO SOX. get that big bat.
  8. Hahn. time to step up buddy. Make it happen.
  9. MLB.com's T.R. Sullivan reports that the Rangers are "definitely making a push" to land Cuban first baseman Jose Abreu. FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reported earlier that Abreu was close to a six-year, $68 million deal, with the White Sox representing his likely landing spot. However, Sullivan was told by one source familiar with the negotiations that the Rangers "are expected to land him." We should know Abreu's ultimately destination soon.
  10. QUOTE (Baron @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 08:20 PM) If Gammons,Rosenthal,Heyman and company whiffed on this I'm going to be pissed I'm sure the only time they'll be collectively wrong is when it's good news for our sox.
  11. Ken Rosenthal getting something wrong doesn't happen often - but I deleted my facebook status.
  12. QUOTE (ChiSoxFan05 @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 08:10 PM) Marlins beat writer says it's Texas. Wait the f*** is this?
  13. Welcome back, Chicago White Sox baseball. We needed this. Now grab McCann and Ellsbury and let's f***ing dance in October next year.
  14. Plantar fasciitis sucks f***ing balls - and I have a 10k to run Sunday.
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 03:03 PM) Clearly her mistake was having kids.
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 02:45 PM) In almost exactly eight years I have increased my salary about 110%. Wow, what a close-minded statement. Although, I will say that fast food workers do not deserve $15. It's not our fault that that woman has zero marketable skills.
  17. It's time for the White Sox to beat the Astros again.
  18. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 02:41 PM) Always believe in the black unicorn He's amazing.
  19. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 11:25 AM) Set to view at 1080p and go full screen, this is crazy! For the first time, I want a PS4.
  20. QUOTE (bbilek1 @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 11:02 AM) Go with Blackmon considering Colston has a bye week. Hmmm. Tough call. You're right, though.
  21. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 10:40 AM) And with their history of turning low picks into gold, I am good with them missing once in a while when drafting there. No s***. Look at Taj, Butler and Asik (and hell, even Mirotic who has ascended to legend status and they should deal before he comes over and proves to be a chucker who can't play D). We could even bring up Snell given how nice a fit he's looking to be.
  22. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 10:28 AM) Teague blows. That was a terrible pick by GarPax. Maybe Utah will take him since Burke got hurt? It was the 29th pick of the draft. Of the 2012 draft. Look at the hot garbage that went behind him. What do you expect. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_NBA_draft
  23. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 17, 2013 -> 10:03 AM) He brought it up a few times and looked adequate. If he can run the pick and roll, hit the 3 and play defense he'll be very valuable. If he can simply shoot like he did last night, he'll be very valuable.
  24. I am glad the White Sox are rid of Jake Peavy.
  25. Derrick Rose said after Wednesday's 22-point game that he is more explosive than he was before knee surgery, and that his vertical leap has increased by five inches. "I think I'm way more explosive now," Rose said. "Like getting to the rim. I think I can take contact a little bit better. And as far as jumping-wise, I think I can jump even higher. They tested my vertical -- I increased it by 5 inches."
