  1. And give Robin credit for moving Lexi up and Dunn and Keppinger down. And he didn't let Keppinger hit with bases loaded. He's trying at least.
  2. Weird but I would actually call this progress. Despite his 3-run error Lexi's bat seems to be coming around, and so does De Aza's and maybe even Flowers. Get Gillaspie back in the lineup along with Viciedo...I don't know why, but I feel like this slump is ending. Of course it doesn't mean a thing if the fielding continues to blow chunks.
  3. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 13, 2013 -> 06:58 PM) Late September? that's cruel
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ May 13, 2013 -> 06:54 PM) Both Hawk and Stoney have taken a ton of cheap shots at the Sox tonight. Even this inning, Stoney made a comment about how it's no shock the Sox haven't walked, and then Hawk praised the Twins for how they handled the cut-off. re: Twins, "Alejandro stops at 3rd because they got the cut off handled..."
  5. I hope we see Hernandez again once the bats realize the season has started
  6. productive out
  7. at least his bat is coming around
  8. sox have a knack for making bad pitchers look great
  9. pile on, minny. f*** you lexi
  10. this is an easy team to hate
  11. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 13, 2013 -> 05:30 PM) He's hitting an ice .100 this month. sub .180 for his white sox career. Impressively bad.
  12. just a ground out from Dunn and that run scores from 3rd.
  13. atta boy Adam
  14. oh tank---so so close
  15. what is this crap. I came here to b**** about the offense.
  16. Not often you see Miguel Cabrera strike out on 3 pitches
  17. They should FOLD. No wait, they should HOLD until June. Or FOLD now. Either one.
  18. I really look forward to watching Hector pitch these days.
  19. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 13, 2013 -> 04:04 AM) 100 percent joke Oh I knew you were joking, sorry. (others, not so much)
  20. Sale will be 27, in his prime and locked up contractually by the magical '16. Why would anyone advocate giving up a known for one or more unknowns? It never fails to puzzle me. In fact, it was when Kenny traded Hudson for EJax that I had the same feeling. It just made no sense.
  21. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 12, 2013 -> 08:18 PM) Trade sale while his value is at its highest now. Look towards 2016
  22. QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ May 12, 2013 -> 09:21 AM) Funny to see how many people now are BEGGING for Gordo's return. A sign of how bad things are. If nothing else, I hope he avoids the error epidemic. But it's ridiculous to think he's suddenly going to come back and start hitting like he never has with any consistency.
  23. If you're not going to release Dunn, at the very least see if he'll go to the minors to work out whatever it is that's plagued him for 3 years.
  24. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ May 11, 2013 -> 08:28 PM) Hey, it's alright, I really thought he's be a Mike Napoli-lite. A lot of us are big dummies right now. That was me too QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 11, 2013 -> 09:54 PM) It's not so much keeping AJ or Buehrle, those were no brainers. It's misjudging the talent behind them, in the case of our current catching issues. Well said I don't know about you guys but tonight was the low point as far as I'm concerned. Hawk says they can't play any worse, but I'm starting to doubt they'll play any better. Keppinger and Dunn...just wow.
