  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 5, 2012 -> 01:24 PM) Quintana's been just awesome!
  2. QUOTE (Jeff Liefer @ Jul 5, 2012 -> 10:37 AM) Everyone go #TakeJake on twitter or MLB.com Time for the White Sox to sweep the Rangers and overflood the ballot box on the Rangers. I get the feeling we can't compete with the nation of Japan.
  3. Finally at .500 at home, right? About time.
  4. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 4, 2012 -> 08:54 PM) There were actually quite a bit more than that in actual attendance both nights. Tuesday night was a season ticketholder exchange night, where they could exchange unused tickets for tickets to that game. There must have been a lot of comps tonight because there weren't many empty seats. There was a couple from Texas sitting next to us tonight and the guy said to his wife, " I thought they said hardly anyone goes to White Sox games. Look at all the people." That's great they got to see such exciting games. Hopefully that will inspire them to come back for more this summer.
  5. Back to back 30K in the house. It's a start.
  6. I love series like this, when you get to see how your team matches up with the best teams in the league. Chicken dinner.
  7. My first Sox game was against the Rangers too. Hope he has fun!
  8. Looks like the Rangers are going to make a major push to trade for Greinke. What a huge boost.
  9. Delmon Young on to walk it off...
  10. QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Jul 2, 2012 -> 05:36 PM) I just love the inevitably argument with the Tigers and the AL Central race this year. Among other things, have they noticed that 28 y.o. Doug Fister is the average pitcher he always was, not the lightning in a bottle half-season version of last year? One of the more ridiculous assumptions about this Tiger team is that Fister would be the guy we saw for three months in '11, automatically. Tigers are making a move, all right. They're stepping aside so KC can bone them on their way past them in the standings this weekend. Good call, Knobler.
  11. Hold em here. Youk bloop, Dunn bomb coming
  12. That was easy. Can't believe Dunn is an all star. America loves the long ball.
  13. The book is out on viciedo...away away away
  14. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 1, 2012 -> 12:17 PM) Some of you are brutal today on Gavin. Not half as brutal as he is on us.
  15. 70+ pitches in 3 innings. Refuses to throw strikes, pitching scared.
  16. It's wide open - I wouldn't even count out KC if they could find a way to get hot. Detroit will get hot and they will probably be in 1st at some point in the season. I'm just hoping the Sox under Ventura don't suffer the 2nd half blues in August/September, and find a way to get hot themselves and win it at the end. Bottom line: just glad my team is going to be fun to watch all summer.
  17. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 30, 2012 -> 12:37 PM) Weird how you and I seem to be the only people that noticed/cared. I looked at it, too. Looked clearly foul to me.
  18. Winning 4-0, yankee fans boo Arod? Or the ump?
  19. Flowers has contributed s*** so far
