I'm as frustrated as anyone with these last two games - if I had a puppy it would be kicked. But Brian Anderson? Really? You're hanging this series loss on that decision? Game 1 was a loss that no defensive play was going to remedy - javy choked hard and would've done it with BA out there too. Last night was a great game, IMO. Buehrle showed some great stones, hanging in there when it was clear he didn't have it. I love that guy.

thanks for the updates! sounds like he's improving, which is good. That checkup he has tomorrow could be huge if the docs sign off and let him start swinging the bat. However, I really wonder how he's going to throw the ball with a bad wrist. I would think that would be just as hard if not harder. If he could bat I'd say Jimmy grab some pine.

i'll be watching at work but hopefully tonight i won't be shouting out "f***!" like I did when wise popped out last night. Co-workers got a little jumpy. I wouldn't miss it - I honestly thought the sox would be sellers in July and as hard as it is to watch them take the pipe, I'm happy to be watching meaningful baseball in late September.

i wanna believe, but Gavin's been shaky in september (1-2, 5.20). Plus that dome is going to be buzzing tonight. I think the season comes down to a series against CLE and 3 LH starters and whether or not we can make it to a game against DET and, wait for it, big game Fred. edit: plus, there's a side of me that wants to see a one game winner-takes-all at the cell against MIN - oh, the chance for some harsh retribution!
