  6. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 09:27 PM) I have become a Hoosiers fan. LOL, it almost needs its own thread at this point
  7. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 09:01 PM) I'd really like to know what team this guy is cheering for. Let me guess, Illinois and their basketball rich tradition. (SNB and Krush, please forgive.) Book marking this post for 15 years from now
  8. This Kansas-OSU game is u-g-l-y. 21-17 kansas with 2 mins left in the half.
  9. Did anyone see that girl kiss villanova's coach? Were those random chicks...?
  10. I figured i'd make a hockey-only thread, as i predict many of us will post about it...so it will be easier to keep it out of the other thread. My predictions: Gold: Canada Silver: Czech Republic Bronze: Sweden Russia has enough talent to medal, but their entire program is in such dissaray right now (and has been for years) that i just don't see them getting it together and medaling...but if they somehow do, a silver or bronze is easily obtainable. I don't expect the US to medal. The roster is full of nice players, but the talent isn't of the same caliber of some of the other teams. I don't like the US goalies, though Dipietro does have the ability to be a pretty good backstop. If he catches fire, the US could do some damage. But i wouldn' tbe surprised if goaltending ends up being their downfall. The US is going to have to win games by outworking some of the other teams. I think there's no doubt they'll play with a ton of passion, and we'll see how far that will take them. Games start wednesday morning. Every single game is televised live, many of them on MSNBC. Also i just heard Marco Sturm is out for Germany, which hurts much of their chance of being a tough opponent. Anyway, can't wait to enjoy these games.
  11. QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Feb 13, 2006 -> 11:45 AM) I cannot believe I watched curling as well. They always look so upset, calm down your sweeping ice, its not that hard. Are you serious? It's actually very hard.
  12. I didn't catch any of the women's games because i was out of town, but i will try to catch the US play if it's on. Can't wait til Wednesday for men's hockey, oh boy.
  13. They trail the Pens by 5 points, Blues by 3 points, and Caps by one point.
  14. Winning on road against a top team in big ten = doesn't happen This wasn't the game that killed us, it was penn st. But this turned into a must win if we wanted any shot at winning the big ten. If you're gonna come on here and jump off a cliff every time Illinois loses a game (and this one they were expected to lose), that's pretty pathetic.
  15. Steve, your team sucks...you are asking people to help you rearrange deck chairs on the Titanic.
