  1. More importantly... How does Elo respond
  2. Sorry, i forgot the green font, but i didn't even think it was needed The Hawks are the worst organization in sports, period.
  3. But...the Hawks...don't suck... If you don't make the playoffs in the NHL, your team sucks, that is correct
  4. But it's relatively easy to make it to the playoffs in the NHL. That wasn't that big of a feat, in my eyes, and i'm a die hard Hawks fan. Hawks have always had a playoff caliber team, just have never spent to make it a stanley cup contending team, especially the last 10 years. And you are right, the trading has been absolutely foul.
  5. Well, i meant good rent a players or somewhat good rent a players that help contend Those examples are just Sutter loving s***ty vets and not knowing how to coach a young team. Hello, Trent Yawney
  6. With the difference being the Hawks don't rent-a-player at all, making them worse in that respect
  7. 7/10 Angels hits have come with 2 outs
  8. Loaiza's pitching like a real all star today... And we already scored our designated 2 runs/game
  9. One of these guys could have 5th starter work at MLB level soon, too
  10. From listening to George Offman all morning, it seems probable. That's just how it sounds to me, i have no idea how probable it actually is. But it doesn't sound good.
  11. Well with Maggs out you still had enough power in the lineup that you didn't have to bring up Borchard if you didn't want to. With Maggs AND Thomas out (hypothetically, since maggs is up), and a super-struggling lineup, it would be nice to have some power in the lineup in the presence of Borchard.
  12. Weird, i thought Thomas was going to go on the DL instead.
  13. Good point, that slipped my mind. Though i hope this doesn't mean any Gload appearances in right field... Why not Borchard though?
  14. See, that's where your wrong. Just because Sox fans want the Cubs to lose doesn't mean they find more happiness in Cubs loss than a Sox win. However, if you are familiar with Cubs fans, or at least the ones i put up with, you would hope they lose every game IN ADDITION to the Sox winning every game. Also, what's good for the cubs is BAD FOR THE SOX. I will now turn the mic over to Brando for a lesson on why all sox fans should want the cubs to lose.
  15. I don't really understand the whole "well if thomas is hurt, surely maggs is fine to play" mentality. Maggs coming back to the lineup should have no bearing on what is going on with Frank's ankle. Now, i understand that you really really really need a bat in there if Thomas goes down...but if Maggs isn't completely ready, is it worth the risk to play him at DH a few games before the all star break? There are a lot of what ifs here, but i don't see how Kenny jumps from Thomas hurt > Maggs plays now. Wouldn't he play now whether or not Thomas was hurt, if he was ready? I just hope this doesn't hurt him
  16. Kline and Morris for Millwood and Polanco Some Philly newspaper is reporting this, i heard on the radio. Why in the hell would the Cardinals touch this deal?
