Washburn is on the waiver wire now until 1:30 pm EST tomorrow. Buster Olney on Baseball Tonight just reported from Peter Gammons that the Sox may put a claim in on him.

This won't last long, Olney said we are going after a veteren pitcher, most likely Washburn, off the waiver wire.
