  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 29, 2008 -> 06:23 PM) I have a feeling Ozzie was saving Thornton for tomorrow. Never good to play for a game that's not certain. yeah, no point in wasting the pen if you don't have to.
  2. LOL, Jose leaves the game boasting a 63.00 ERA. Great way to start '07...

  4. Well, since this thread is probably going to be on this board for about 5 minutes before a moderator deletes it for whatever reason, I just want to say that Frank Thomas is still a stud, and i wish him the best this postseason. With that in mind, who do you guys want to win this World Series? lol, i spelled root wrong, whoops....
  5. lol, "Break Stuff" -- Limp Bizkit
  6. wow, these replies are pretty ridiculous..... pretty sad if you have to take out your frustrations on somebody on a message board you don't even know. ...going back and finding posts to contradict his statements that were probably made in the heat of the moment. Some of you guys need to go find something better to do in your spare time than bash on somebody you've never met before that actually has something positive to say about this team. This may be the most frustrating season in a decade, but dang, these negative posts can only go so far before they are just ridiculous. Gotta agree with Soxfan, if you can't think of anything to say that isn't just negative, go find something else to do.
  7. QUOTE(lukeman89 @ Sep 7, 2006 -> 06:02 PM) maybe they gave one to vazquez for his last start, and maybe they started giving them to garland after his rough start and maybe they stopped working for buehrle you just sound like a moron, dude you should let that last comment sink in.....
  8. I'm kinda thinking the same thing... Different arm angle the last few months, horrible numbers. I'm sure that a lot of this is mental, but it's just dumb to not consider that he's hurt too. Why would you fix something if it's not broken?
  9. every game is essentially must win. I really don't like Contreras in there though. Please prove me wrong Jose.
  10. It's been such a horrible second half. I really hope that regardless of what happens KW makes some significant moves next offseason. This team the last five years has just been atrocious in the second half of the season. Always has been, always will be.
  11. horrible approach, what else can it be? Is it really possible for nine players simultaneously hit slumps?
  12. PK has done so much for this team, but I too can't stand him pulling the ball with two strikes for DPs. Pretty disgusting.
  13. how is it possible for a team to be so consistently bad in the second half of a season
  14. QUOTE(GOD @ Sep 5, 2006 -> 08:19 PM) I'm still blaming Ozzie for the loss. They should've never pitched to Crisp. 4 hits, 0 runs.....
  15. just got off work, glad to see we're playing well again...
