anybody seeing the mountain goats tonight at the metro?

I've listened to Challengers twice now In terms of sound it is maybe very slightly more acoustic/mellow than any other album of theirs, but in terms of quality, its not a progression from twin cinema, but it is right on par with the rest of their work

"Challengers" the New Pornographers upcoming album has leaked I've got it downloaded, but I won't be able to listen to it until later tonight I don't know how many sources there are of this leak, but it was sent to me from my brother, who got it from the ateaseweb.com (a radiohead fansite) message board so if you're interested I would search around there

animal collective is playing the Vic theatre september 10th that will hopefully be a good show, assuming their new album is any good

I've been listening to the album for two months I had an initial wave of disappointment because I felt like they didn't fulfill their potential as a band, but eventually I've come around and realized its a nice record

Ouch, pitchfork gives Sky Blue Sky only a 5.4 thats insulting, the album maybe doesn't live up to expectations or potential, but its not bad

Anyone listened to the Menomena album called "Friend and Foe" that came out earlier this year, its great
