If Jose were a business owner, he would always be giving things away til his profit margain disappears. Just like how Jose loves to give free passes when he is pitching.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 27, 2008 -> 12:14 PM) Wind must be howling out to left field. I'm ready for the Cabrera era to end already. If we cut ties with every player on the roster that has started the year slow with the bat, we would probably only be able to field a team of three position players.

I was certain the run was going to get home on a wild pitch.

Jose's day is often a relfection of the ast inning. If he makes it out of the first inning, he should be good for 6 innings.

QUOTE (SoxPride56 @ Apr 27, 2008 -> 10:57 AM) Swish, RF; OC, SS; Thome, DH; PK, 1B; AJ, C; Quentin, LF; Ramirez, 2B; BA, CF; Ozuna, 3B. Contreras pitching. Except for the lack of Crede (who I do think we need to rest pretty regularly), I like the line up a lot.

Indiana / North Carolina primary election thread
I voted yesterday via early voting. It was quick and easy and I would recommend it to all of my fellow Hoosiers that hate waiting in lines.

Something just isn't right with Buehrle this year.

Buehrle to Start Nightcap
All this extra day of rest business and still getting hit hard, anybody else starting to think something is wrong with Buehrle. This seems Cubbish in hiding an injury. But Buehrle is the "ace". And generally speaking, you do not push back your ace unless something is up.

I am starting to suspect something might be wrong with Buehrle. This is very Cubbish. We skip a few days, say nothing is wrong, yet Buehrle is clearly not pitching to expectations.

4/25 Gamethread: Sox (12-9) vs Orioles (13-9), 7:11 CSN+
Pretty s***ty that they made the fans wait like that for 2+ hours to have it called.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 22, 2008 -> 06:56 PM) Don't you love it when you're wrong like that! How do you think Crede got so good?

This is where the Sox really miss having an actual major league hitter at 2B,

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 22, 2008 -> 06:52 PM) I hate this Yankees team...very unlikeable. Speaking from a Sox fan's perspective, when have the Yanks been likable?
