Totally agree with Kalapse on this one comparing him to Valentin. He will spell Fields against some tough righties..especially if Josh starts to struggle. He can spell Paulie every once and awhile, spell Alexei sometimes as well. He will also be a great threat to have on the bench late in the game when they bring in a tough righty to pinch hit. Also, if Fields totally flops he is a great insurance policy at 3rd.

Betemit here too. I think he can be a great bench/utility guy. I could see him coming up with some big late inning, game winning hits. Getz could be the biggest key though, outside of the backend of the rotation. He doesn't have to be great, just have a decent OBP to set the table and keep the leadoff position once Ozzie gives him the spot.

I hope that if Colon doesn't look ready they keep him on extended Spring Training, let Clayton Richard make some starts and bring Colon back end of April, beginning of May.
