He's 10-25 with a 5.61 era since the Sox traded for him. This is over 3 seasons and he's now 36, can't see anyone really wanting him.

Looking at last years mocks the day before the draft, Callis and Mayo both had the Twins taking Brendan McKay #1 and B/R had them taking Kyle Wright....and they took Royce Lewis. So what do these guys really know?

Outside of Spencer Adams, when was the last time someone was excited about the Sox 2nd and 3rd picks that they've made? I get that people want to take advantage of these 3 picks but what are the chances the Sox actually make 3 good picks? Picks to bolster the farm are nice but there are no guarantees with these picks. Everyone sees what the Cubs have done, but Baez, Bryant and Schwarber were all first round picks, Russell was traded for and Soler was a signing. It wasn't like they all came from the same draft. Justin Upton is one hell of a player for giving up the extra pick and some money that none of us won't have to pay him.

Out of the 86 qualified pitchers who have thrown enough innings, Quintana is 61st in whip, and 85th out of 86 in hits allowed. Only Samardzija has allowed more hits then him....I just don't see him being anywhere near "ace" material, aces just don't get hit that hard. And comparing his value to Sale's is laughable.
