Removing this link, since it takes you to a page with nudity. Uhh.. just to be clear, it was a silhouette of a boob half hidden by an arm, TYVM.

NSFW... Obviously the chick in the back doesn't realize who the chick in front of her is. Removing this link, since it takes you to a page with nudity. http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m120/mikur/bikini1.jpg

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 02:04 PM) AHEM, I am totally winning one of those rings... But I will let you guys pay the taxes on it in exchange for letting you take a picture with it Like hell you are. I'll be saving this post as blackmail...

QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 01:46 PM) I remember seeing a pic of you with the Sox ring on your finger way back when the passed them out. It took me awhile, but I finally got to wear that thing. Of course when I win the raffle I'll be able to wear it all the time. I thought it looked pretty good on me if I must say so myself. Friggin heavy, aint it? That will be cool... 2 Soxtalkers winning

QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 01:09 PM) The Scout Seat Lounge was a sweet set up...I have a couple pics in my other post. I don't really care that there aren't plasmas all over the park, I mean how long are you wathcing tv in the concourse anyway. When it's time to upgrade the tv's, I'm sure they'll go the LCD route, but I see no need to tear down all the old tv's just for aesthetics. As for the whole ticket fiasco....When I was in line they had said...if you were sent the ticketmaster tickets stay in this line...If you only have the Big Card that was sent to you in the mail go to the ticket window. I assumed they were giving those people regular tickets at that ticket window, but I dont know cause we went inside. We stayed over there the entire time Friday night. I didn't see nearly as many ticket issues Friday as I did Thursday which was good.

Told ya... QUOTE(SnB @ Jul 29, 2006 -> 12:34 AM) PS: I have a great story about Illinikrush and that place. It involves a bet about their "large" size right before a night of heavy drinking, lol. Spill it.

QUOTE(Jimbo @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 10:54 AM) There the Admiral....the admiral club and go to the admiral Ick. That place is nastee... Scores on North Ave is OK, but pricey. Diamonds has cute chicks (better than Scores, imo) but again costs too much. They all cost too much actually. Go pick up a good DVD and a 12 pack.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) I don't understand how the event could even be close to sold out. I mean, fans are allowed on the field. So, most of the field and the entire bullpen bar were full? There aren't that many full and partial ST holders. Not to menton, it's not a 1 day event. It was not just for ST holders... ST holders Anyone that had/attended a patio party Anyone that bought a suite

QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 03:02 PM) Post it. I'll make a copy and bring it with me. In past year's when the had the parties, occassionally JR would be there. Who knows he may be at the one I'm at. I'll hand it to him. Oye...

QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 02:13 PM) Ahh, Steff.. Ye of little faith! You've read me long enough by now to know I know better! I shall arrive at the Sox offices wearing a Haz-Mat suit and carrying a placard which states: "WHAT STINKS MORE THAN YOUR TEAM IN JULY? YOUR &^%!$%! SPECIAL EVENTS!" And I will be barking through a bullhorn, saying things like "Do I LOOK LIKE LANCE BASS? So WHY YOU TRYING TO BEND ME OVER?" I'm sure that will get me an audience with Jerry.

QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 11:28 AM) Are you thinkin' there will be a civil suit against the doctors? I do think there would be grounds.

Anybody Else Getting Burned on this Grinder Party Thing?

QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 12:06 PM) They should have some part in it shouldn't they? Aren't the Sox the ones that printed up the tickets for Soxfest? They should be able to control how many Soxfest tickets the Hyatt gets and gives out. No, the Sox didn't print up the tickets. Ticketmaster did. The Sox told the Hyatt how many THEY were comfortable with. They Hyatt's plan is to generate revenue so booking more rooms and giving away more tickets is how they make $$. -
QUOTE(Wealz @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 01:22 PM) The invite clearly stated that you had to RSVP by a certain date. With as many season ticketholders as they have now, it's regrettable, but understandable that errors occurred with the planning of this. When I pay for my season tickets what I expect is a well run baseball operation. Everything else is gravy. It's not just for season ticket holders. IMO, that's where the problem started. They should have had an alternate date for patio party and suite folks. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 01:28 PM) you're easy. Well... it did. And Jim and I both laughed when we got them saying "wonder how this will get ef'd up".
-
QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 11:14 AM) Which meant what? You couldn't get in? Me personally I didn't think Soxfest was that great except for the opportunities to buy merchandise. I was not about to stand in line for three hours to get somebody's autograph. But I was a newbie, maybe I didn't know WTF I was doing. No.. you could get in. If you waited in line all night or enjoyed being bumper to bumper with folks to look at the merchandise once you finally did get in. The bars were packed, Connies was a joke until 11pm, and Houlihans was waaaayyy packed all weekend. The Hyatt sold too many packages to Soxfest attendees after they were told what the Sox preferred capacity was.
-
QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 11:06 AM) I didn't go to Soxfest this year (last year I did) but I heard there were problems there, too. What were they? The Hyatt overbooked the event.

QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 10:56 AM) I agree with Steff and Soxy and I also think the husband should have been up on charges. He knew she was suffering from PPD and continued to knock her up and ignore the signs. She should never have been alone with those kids, not even for a minute. While Rusty contributed to the problem, the doctors that were treating her should have admitted her into a facility loooooog before she had Mary. They, IMO, definitely hold some responsibility for the death of those children as well.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 10:52 AM) GREAT, THERE IS YET ANOTHER TICKET NEEDED TO GET ON THE FIELD! They only allow so many. It wasn't so bad last night but we got there a bit early.

QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 10:41 AM) Hey Steff do you think I should write: Jerry, or Brooks? I'm not going to beach them out, but let them know that I'm a lifelong and loyal Sox fan who was so disappointed that they would run such a shoddy operation when usually they do okay. I don't have a problem with being uninvited; it's the being invited then completely screwed which I take offense to. Not Jerry... And I'm not even sure about Brooks. Maybe Christine (brain cramp on her last name right this second) who is in charge of special events? Though if you mailed it to BB he would get it to the right person I'm sure. Suggestion... don't call it shoddy. They just underplanned. It's not like they did it on purpose and FWIW, I know they feel like crap that a lot of fans got shafted.
-
QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 10:10 AM) I cannot believe how fracked up this is. How could they do this to their fans? Usually the Sox are really good about things like this. Not really. The previous ST holder parties were not problem free. This one is just a lot bigger. With that comes problems. Write a letter LV. Wont get you in tonight or tomorrow, but it will get you heard and suggestions are taken seriously.

QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 10:26 AM) Even if she does get the help she needs and "recovers," she will ALWAYS be connected to that. She will lead a lonely, lonely life. She should probably be institutionalized forever, just because she can constantly be on suicide watch. What a horrible story. She will 99.9% be in for life. That was the point of getting the insanity verdict. There was a possibility she would have gotten out otherwise. She doesn't want to get out. She (thankfully) realizes she's sick.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 09:56 AM) Wow, can someone shed some light on all of this. What exactly is needed to get IN? If I had all the way down there and get turned away, it's not gonna be pretty. You need actual ticketmaster looking tickets. We saw several folks get turned away last night. Not good.

QUOTE(Soxy @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 09:26 AM) Hopefully the psychiatric help she needs. Once her mental health recovers I can't think of a worse punishment than knowing she killed her own babies. Her story was on Dateline last night. The reality is starting to hit. It's not pretty and I agree it's a horrible internal punishment.

QUOTE(salty99 @ Jul 27, 2006 -> 02:50 PM) They obviously didn't learn from SoxFest They had nothing to do with the overbooking of Soxfest. QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Jul 27, 2006 -> 02:56 PM) Oh this is the White Sox organization through and through. For sure.
