    "My Humps"

QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 04:16 PM) It just makes me mad when guys constantly rip on someone, especially when they are not ugly. It's their opinion.. and they have a right to it.

QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 04:13 PM) I'd really like to see some of your girlfriends/wifes so I can say how ugly they are. I guarantee Fergie is better than your gf/wife if you even have one. Oh yes.. that was necessary. :rolly
  3. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 03:57 PM) Wow...perhaps when he does file...he should hire you....well done!!! And that aint the half of it really. That woman was disgusting. That woman pimped out 1 of her daughters, and had the other one stuffing "scam" envelopes. What motherly love. :rolly The judge has the right to lower the award.. I hope 2 things happen.. 1. He lowers it. 2. All the men Bonnie skammed, ripped off, lied to, stole from, etc, etc, etc... sue her estate and her children don't get squat. That would be some justice.
  4. I haven't really posted regarding this case, criminal or civil, too much. I have read the transcripts from the criminal trial and the civil. I'll keep this as simple as possible without going into all the arguments of the NG's and G's. MO, RB isn't guilty or liable for anything. 1. Too much reasonable doubt in criminal 2. Too many other possible suspects in the civil for him to be held *liable.* Exactly what does this jury ( whom I believe milked this situation for all it was worth) think he is *liable* for? For not having a cell phone and calling 911? For not standing there with her, holding the bleeding areas to attempt to stop the bleeding (which was hopeless anyway according to coroner report)? For running to the neighboring houses attempting to get help for her? For being in shock and not knowing exactly what he should do ( many people are like this in an ER situation.) Maybe they will explain this since they seem to play to the media. Now, the amount. Hmmmm, BB worth 30 million??? So, is that money that this jury believes she would of milked out of her web based, dishonest, porn scams on old, lonely men????? Or, did they adjust that amount to include the scams she was running on celebrities?????? (MOO) So the message they are sending is that dishonest law breakers can get away with this type of thing???? (MOO) So confusing to us law abiding honest people. RB may be crude to some. He may speak from the cuff (i.e, says EXACTLY what is on his mind etc) but that is an appealing character trait to me. Don't give me wishy washy BS, say what you mean and mean it. No, I don't agree with this jury's *verdict*. They played to the media and will milk it, watch, MOO. Now I ask, can all those scammed by BB now go back and file their own civil suits against this judgement? I hope they do. This grifter family deserves nothing, nada, zip. MOO. FILE THE APPEAL MR. BLAKE!..

    "My Humps"

QUOTE(Yoda @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 03:14 PM) D4L sings it. That is if you want to call it singing. How do I know this you may ask? Because it is one of the top downloaded songs on iPod. As well as the ringtone for it. FWIW, a dozen of freshman girls were walking down the halls today singing “My Humps.” I’ve heard the song only once (and not all of it) but it seems like wherever I go this damn song is there. The weight training room, Circuit City, Cable TV, EVERYWHERE! :banghead I went with a co-worker to Best Buy to buy a DVD recorder and got in the truck... I asked "have you ever heard this lumps song...?" he replies.. "no, what is it..?" I turn on the radio and BAM!!! There it is... I almost wrecked the truck I was laughing so hard.

  9. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 12:39 PM) Ichiro being the solid defender he is, with the arm and speed he has, I was thinking he could play CF. Send Rowand in a trade, maybe, since he can probably play any OF position. Leave Dye in the outfield, instead of making him learn a new position. I think Ichiro would make an excellent CF, an excellent 2-hole hitter, and an excellent fit in the clubhouse with his work ethic and style of play. No. Aaron stays. Dye is a big boy.. and 1st base is easily adaptable, IMO. Rock, I agree with you on your point as well.
  10. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 12:38 PM) who else has spinach at their subway? A few here do. And pineapple for the ham also. Ick.
  11. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 12:34 PM) Blah. Italian BMT sandwich with barbecue sauce... HEAVEN! - the BBQ.. and I agree. Yuuummmmeeeeee.
  12. I said this a while ago. Dye to 1st, Itchy to RF. I'm down with that.
  13. QUOTE(He Gawn!!! @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 12:15 PM) I couldnt do a seach for some reason but... does anyone know where to find the schedule for Soxfest? I pretty much just need to get Buehrle's sig so I want to go when he is going to be there. Not out yet. A week or so before they will post it when the players confirm they're attending.
  14. By Amira Agarib 13 November 2005 DUBAI — When she went to the ladies washroom in the Egyptian Court of Ibn Battuta Mall at 9.30 last night, 37-year old Latifa M. never imagined that she would come face to face with pop icon Michael Jackson, who walked in dressed in a T-shirt and trousers, with his head covered with the Emirati women’s traditional head scarf Sheila. The Tunisian, who is a teacher in a private school in Dubai, screamed in shock and ran out of the ladies room when she realised that the woman-like person was a man. She went back in to photograph the pop singer with her mobile phone, while he was busy fixing his make up. This time it was the turn of Michael Jackson who ran after the Ajman-based teacher, to retrieve the pictures. The scene attracted the security of the mall, who tried to take the phone from Latifa, but she refused and asked for compensation, while the two women accompanying Jackson tried to convince her to sit in private and settle the issue. Wary of this suggestion, the teacher called the police. Colonel Abdul Jalil Al Mehdi, Deputy Director of the Preventive Security Department of Dubai Police, took the matter in his hands and tried to solve the issue, while Jackson left it to his companions to explain who he is and solve the matter. While Latifa insisted on compensation, Jackson flatly refused to pay up. The police informed Latifa that the UAE laws do not entitle her to any financial gain from the situation and they convinced her to hand over the mobile, which she did after erasing the photos for the fear of being penalised. http://www.khaleejtimes.com/DisplayArticle...ion=theuae&col=

    Joe Smith Trial..

I know you guys are probably sick of me posting on this.. but just one last thing.. I was searching in my mind last night for something positive out of this whole tragedy. Joseph Smith might have made one contribution to America. With his idiotic coded letters, disgusting words to his brother, admission to his mother, and inability to spot surveilance cameras, he showed everyone in America how easy it is to violate a frightened child. He gave us a landmark case to refer to any time in the future. Never again should people entertain thoughts that brutal crimes bring about mountains of forensic evidence, or that a pervert set on kidnapping a child can't accomplish it without someone noticing. That car wash tape was easily the most frightening footage I have ever witnessed. His confidence, the ease of it, Carlies' innocent child-like responses when she felt threatened, Carlies' attempt to avoid his eyes and his person. If that tape doesn't scream to America that we need a one strike law for violent sex offenders, then we are headed down one ugly path. We rarely see a childs' final moments of innocent life. We saw Carlies'. The rest of her life from the moment she exited the surveilance area was hell.

  20. QUOTE(Wong & Owens @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 11:06 AM) Because when it's revealed just how many priests were involved, and how the diocese hid the violations, it's going to make the L.A. church look REEEEAAALLL bad. I know.. I really wasn't looking for it to be answered. Ya know when you are just so baffled by something that you just say "why.. how.. can it be...." over and over again.. ? That's how I feel about this..
  21. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 11:01 AM) I think they're afraid of just how much damage it would cause. Because the damage to the children they molest is no big deal..
  22. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Nov 18, 2005 -> 11:01 AM) Is anyone surprised by this? The French didn't oppose the war on moral grounds, they were bought off ( in addition to the fact that they sold weapons to Iraq illegally ). Im waiting for Chirac to admit his level of complicity in this affair. LOL Nuke.. you were typing for a while there and I was looking forward to a good "eff those mf'ing stupid ass french jags.. etc, etc.. " post.
  23. http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/11/18/clergy-abuse.ap/index.html Friday, November 18, 2005 8:11 a.m. EST (13:11 GMT) LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- California's Supreme Court has upheld an appeals court ruling that forces the nation's largest Roman Catholic archdiocese to turn over the personnel files of two former priests accused of molestation. The ruling issued Wednesday is the latest development in a battle between the Los Angeles County district attorney, who subpoenaed the private files three years ago, and the archdiocese. Archbishop Roger Mahony has argued that opening the files would violate the church's constitutional guarantee of religious freedom. Donald Steier, an attorney for the former priests, said he was considering an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court. The ruling means prosecutors could scour personnel files for evidence that could result in criminal charges against additional clergy and possibly even Mahony himself. One former priest, Michael Wempe, is expected to go on trial within weeks on charges of committing a lewd act on a child and oral copulation of a person under 16. The district attorney's office has said it is also investigating several other cases that could fall within the statute of limitations for prosecution of sex abuse. "This is an important milestone in addressing the issue of clerical sexual abuse," District Attorney Steve Cooley said. "I look forward to immediate access to files we subpoenaed from the Los Angeles Archdiocese." In a separate civil case, a judge ruled Wednesday that a monsignor must answer questions in a deposition and cannot assert "clergy privilege" to avoid revealing whether he heard confessions of a deacon accused of sexual abuse. "The penitential privilege protects 'a communication made in confidence,"' wrote Judge Haley Fromholz, who has been supervising a global settlement of more than 550 civil lawsuits against the archdiocese. "It does not prohibit the disclosure of the fact that the communication occurred." The church argued that all communications between a priest and a bishop are privileged. Some priests might continue to refuse to answer questions despite the ruling, said Donald Woods, an archdiocese attorney. Monsignor Michael Lenihan was deposed last summer in cases involving three priests, including Michael Baker, a deacon he supervised who later admitted abusing two brothers and has been accused in other cases. I just don't understand it. Why, why, why... would the church NOT want to have these sicko's prosecuted and put away. :banghead
