  1. Oh look who's back... SouthSideI have something stuck up my ass... Nice of you to allow Rex to "proceed" in his conversing about Kip...
  2. And my comments get taken the wrong way... First of all.. I don't give a crap what Ozzie told them, and actually applaud the "don't sweat it" attitude. What I don't applaud is that these guys.. who kids DO look up to.. being told to go get drunk and THAT being in the papers. Careless reporting, not careless managing.
  3. What a positive message to the younger fans of the game... Careless reporting, IMO.
  4. http://in.sports.yahoo.com/040218/137/2bket.html Not Bonds.
  5. Bonds and Giambi got called because of their association with him, not because of FedEx packages. Sheff is the only one (so far) that they confirmed got packages.
  6. No. The FedEx deliveries were to Sheffield.
  7. Funny you should mention this... I was watching and Coop appeared to be telling Ozzie what to do.. At one point he got on the phone, then went over to talk to Ozzie. Like..."Ok, this is what we do here....."
  8. Should be a fabulous time.. 6-10 Day Forecast (Complete 10-Day Forecast) Daytime High / Overnight Low (°F) Sun Apr 11 Few Showers 47°/33° Mon Apr 12 Rain / Snow Showers 45°/36° Tue Apr 13 Scattered Snow Showers 49°/37° Wed Apr 14 Partly Cloudy 54°/40° Thu Apr 15 Partly Cloudy 58°/40°
  9. And if Cliff had not walked anyone and K'd em all everyone would be preaching that it was right to leave him in... Bla, bla, bla.... Hindsight is 20/20. The guy was doing fine. I'm sure that Koch would have been MORE than happy with Cliff finishing the game - if he had - than what actually did happen.
  10. Oh hell.. you guys are to down for me. I'm going to bowl and get drunk
  11. I'm talking about him coming in at the start of the 9th. I agree he should have come out after the 1st walk.. but I see no reason why he shouldn't have started the 9th as I have read several folks here say he should not have.
  12. I want him having control. I'd rather have a 90 mph breaking ball.. or even an 88 mph curve versus a 96 mph... maybe it could be right down the middle or a foot off the plate. But that's just me...
  13. Yea.. well.. even a broken clock is right twice a day.
  14. Ok.. just go ahead and ignore me. You all know I'm right. :finger
  15. LOL.. I knew you were going to fire back with something like this.
  16. No way.. gotta include the home opener in there just to REALLY kick us while we're down.. Oh.. for anyone who wants to give me s*** about this post.. save it. I'm being facetious. :finger
  17. The Yanks lost their opener, too. Relax.. we'll be fine.
  18. Koch hit 96.. but he had NO control. He was a foot off the plate several times. What did he toss... 3 strikes??? What friggin good is 96 mph to us when it's being launched over the wall...?? Or loading the bases..?? Why not leave Cliff in...?? He was doing well. Marte... I just don't know. He had a bad inning. It happens. I can hear the screaming "the sky is falling, the sky is falling... " Sure sounds like that's what many of you are doing. :headshake
