Plus, the Government didn't get involved in testing until the early 80's so it wasn't that "out there". Over the years I think it's gotten worse to be honest with you. We're trashing this planet and stirring up s***.. which means more chemicals have to be used to "clean" it, and even more chemicals to cover up the smell of the cleaners. It's pretty frightening what is done to water to get it past the G'ment standards. And in case anyone didn't know.. the water that comes out of your garden hose DOES NOT meet regulations!! Nice isn't it? That water you fill your little kids pools with.. or take a swig from while cutting the lawn isn't much cleaner than Lake Michigan. Mmmm.. yummy, eh? :puke

I'm 30 and I don't ever remember there not being bottled water. Culligan has been around for over 65 years.

Seriously, you guys would be APPALLED at what is in the water. We had 4 different companies come test the water, including the village themselves and it was sickening! All the chemicals.. including LEAD! And if you think the better area you live in the better water you have.. bulls***.

We got the AquaTiva system. It's actually a system that was installed in our basement and it's a water softner/filtration unit. It's awesome. I have no idea of the faucet ones. The one we got is a bit pricey, but well worth it. Let me know if you want the info on them.

Hey Fan... when you guys are done with the house have a filter company come out and test your water. They do it for free and do not push the purification system at all. You will literaly be sick once you see what is in the water. There are over 800 foreign elements. It's disgusting.

Water from the tap is not "just as good" as filtered bottled water. By all means, drink what you want, but if you think there is no difference between bottled water and tap water than you might want to step over to the blithering idiot side of the room.

I worked for a company that used PTO.. but only hourly employees got the benefit. I worked up to 60-65 hour weeks back then and only got PTO accrual for 40. Where I'm at now the package is 22 vacation/personal days for years 1-4, 27 for 5-9, 32 for 10-14, and over 15 gets 40 days. Although exempt employees (higher mgmt and execs) get some additional benefits. Everyone gets 8 sick days a year. And all the days are use them or loose them.
