  1. More fitting in the Yanks clubhouse..
  2. I'd rather have the late start. It's friggin cold in March!!!
  3. And if Bart doesn't sign.. which he wont, the fans get pissed with him. KW is an idiot. He has a big mouth, and a small brain. Negotiations do not belong in the public. JMO though.. And you, stop your b****ing about people whining :finger
  4. No. TV's can be excluded from the game feeds.
  5. I think he meant last year. Increased prices and increased sales should equal increased payroll. Hmm.. Colon? Koch? Mags raise?
  6. What increases are you talking about..? We've gotten no information about any further increases. By the way.. the parking co get's 80% of the increased revenue until the start of the 2005 season. They had the Sox by the balls when they threatened to walk - thus leaving the Sox with no attendants at all which would mean no parking - and signed a sweet 2 year deal in 2002 for the '03 and '04 seasons. That deal was the reason for the $2 increase this year.
  7. Karma...... It'll come back to haunt you. Don't say a word..
  8. Well.. ya know different strokes for different folks. I don't condem anyone for their actions when they don't effect me. Besides.. karma works in mysterious ways.

    Damnit Steff!!

Yeah baby!!! Now if the Bills hadn't screwed up and Cleveland hadn't rolled over I'd be even higher!!
  11. AIDS, other STD's, unwanted pregnancy.....
  12. Wrong. It's been said here many times during the season.
  13. Is that going to happen? Or is that just a joke? It's gonna happen. Parking was raised $2 when the White Sox started winning and the Cell was anywhere between 30-39,000 in attendance. Coincidence? I think not. This year..? We went to plenty of games that we didn't have passes for and paid $15 all year long. Or are you talking about the jump from last year? I don't know about the lots where we tailgate cause I park for free, but Lot G (?)..... the one on 35th on the westside of the railrod tracks..... went from $13 to $15 and coincided with the White Sox fans coming out to the ballpark. I know it was $13 earlier in the season because I drive by that lot everyday while working. Never parked over there so I have no idea. Interesting though. All the rest of the lots went to $15 at the start of the season. If anything.. it should have been $15 all year is my guess. Free parking... :finger

I'm pretty sure Jerry gets the same amount of $$ from them. They have a contract (I think) through 2006 that the Sox get the same $$ amount per car, no matter how many cars there are. Those attendants are union, not Sox employees.
  15. Steve... Everyone is different and experiences are never the same. What you just posted here I would bet is how a lot of 18 year old - males and females - view relationships. How many people really do you find their "soulmate" at 18..? And I think what you said here: "I have cheated before in relationships which did not mean a great deal to me. Those relationships never lasted longer than a few months or so. It is different with someone who you truely care about. I would never cheat on someone who I truely loved." Sets the tone. If you don't care about the relationship.. how can you be committed to it? No worries.. I don't think you're a loser
  16. TRUTH. Fact of the matter is, if you were in your relationship for any length of time, there would probably have been a situation where you could have cheated or gotten out BEFORE it got too serious. If you didn't then, there is NO excuse for cheating later. The "number of opportunities" theory is a LAME excuse - "OH, they WORE ME DOWN!!! SO MANY WOMEN HEAPING THEMSELVES ON ME.... I could refuse until the 243rd woman, but a man can only take SO MUCH...." Please. This is absolutely true! You make a decision to cheat, or not to cheat. It really IS that simple.
  17. Ouch! Perhaps I did not make myself clear. I don't think most men are particularly monogamous by nature. If I'm wrong sorry, but that's the way I see it. More than a few times I've observed a married or taken man get embarrasingly weak when showered with attention by another woman. It stands to reason that in our celebrity driven culture that the men I mentioned in my previous post were going to have many more opportunities to stray than a shmo like yours truly. It seems painfully obvious that many of these athletes, rock stars, etc get weak in the face of all this temptation. I believe that a lot of average joes would act in the same manner if they had the chance to live that lifestyle. That's all I was trying to say. Sorry if I hit your tripwire, but this is what my life experience has taught me. Sounded like you were "excusing" cheating because of who a man is and who he has around. That's the bulls*** I was referring to. I know plenty of athletes who aren't total loosers that don't cheat on their wives. And yes, I know those that do. And have called them looser to their faces as well.
  18. That is such bulls***! If a man cheats because "he's surrounded by women".. then he is a pathetic looser. You stay faithful because your relationship means something to you. No matter who you are around.
  19. Ahhh relax Yas. This rumor is the product of mas quantities of illegal substances

    Sox

Naa.. this town loves to show our shortcommings in the spotlight. I'd guess it'll be lead story and sports page headlines. "Sox F up again.."
  21. Well.. it's the same man that's there right now.. and they are playing like they should be. I'm sorry.. but the guys on the field are at fault, too.
  22. Oh these little babies. I say let the team least afraid of the rain in the playoffs.
