With Scott Podsednik going down, Josh Fields is now a possibility to open the season as a part-time left fielder, manager Ozzie Guillen said. After Fields left the Venezuelan Winter League in Novemeber, Guillen said Fields probably wouldn't be an option in left field at the beginning of the year, mainly due to his lack of experience at the position.
