9/21 - Sox @ KC; 1:10 PM CDT - CSN
QUOTE (Sox It To Em @ Sep 21, 2008 -> 01:45 PM) Thanks, Dan Wheeler. Maybe TB can come back. If the Twinks have to use the pen, there is always a chance.

QUOTE (Sox It To Em @ Sep 21, 2008 -> 01:12 PM) Anyone else having a sound problem with CSN? There's like this weird clicking sound, and no other channels are doing it. It said "technical difficulties" on the screen.

Duckworth has surrendered 1 homer in 26 innings. How's that going to work for us?

Lefty Floyd looks to follow in Buehrle's footsteps
QUOTE (Felix @ Sep 21, 2008 -> 10:33 AM) I know the content is run by a combination of the team's web, marketing, and PR departments (or at least, that's how it is for the NBA; I'd imagine its similar for the MLB). Not sure about the design though. Thanks

Do the Sox run that site exclusively or does MLB have a hand in it? All team sites are essentially the same so I wonder what control each team has.

September Heroes and Goats
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Sep 20, 2008 -> 10:31 PM) Well tomorrow they have Liriano pitching, and the Rays have been partying with their playoff clinch. We face another pile of crap that they will be swinging for the fence on. And I am sure Griffey will be out in CF to turn singles into XBHs. Yeah the hangover crew is going to be out for Tampa, but they still have a division to win so hopefully they don't role over.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Sep 19, 2008 -> 09:00 PM) Do postseason homers count towards career HR total? Thinking about Devin Hester's opening return in the SB made me wonder (Hester's doesn't count, it's like an appendix) No.

2008 Chicago Cubs Catch-All Thread
Apparently Z had his grandmother die last night and it sounds like he went to see her and flew back for the game.

For Minnesota to catch us now...
Can someone tell Jermaine Dye to get a hit? That is all.

9/18 Sox vs. Bombers - 6:05 pm, WGN
QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 09:29 PM) Frightening but we have to consider Broadway as throwing his hat into the ring for RH relief time. I was actually confused as to why he didn't pitch tonight. Might as well use him in mop up time.

HA! Twins announcers dissing (not really) the "Twin's way" of scoring runs. Talking about working hard to get those 2 runs, then just like that, homers take care of that.
