Pham is having a great day in CF.

Speaking of baseball IQ plays. Thanks Cardinals.

Looks like a double switch is happening by St Louis.

How did this not get posted yet?

Moncada coming out, Trayce in.

Nah, guys did fine with the stuff that Giolito had today, and much less to be honest, for a century plus. He got rattled after the homer, but that is something he will learn to pitch over as he matures.

That was the poster child for WILD pitch.

I didn't watch the same game you just did then. Dude was locating like a beast until the solo homer got him out of rhythm.

Nice steal by Anderson.

Damn. Bomb.

Ricky goes out and is going to let Gio try to keep going. Good for him. he has earned a chance at a win this point.

Very nice to see him keep the score right there.

All right Lucas, focus back now.

Dang. That sucks.

I mean, Martinez is only at 60 pitches. We are half way through the game in a clean 1 hour and 15 minutes. That isn't quite Buerhle pace, but still great.

Either bullpen really. With one out in the 5th, he has only thrown 45 pitches. That is the poster child for efficiency.

From everything I see on Madrigal, he is a guy who is probably around a 45 today, with a ceiling around 50, maybe 55. The other guys (Bohm, Swaggerty) probably grade more like 35 to 40 now, but a 60 ceiling. That is a tough call, and it is why Hostetler makes the big dollars.

I don't know how much of the game that Narvaez is calling, but they are looking good together today. Giolito is mixing stuff and location (up/down and inside/outside) really well.

Nice work on getting the DP to end it.

This is a great read on a long history of people enabling the Trump machine. http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2018/04/frank-rich-roy-cohn-the-original-donald-trump.html?utm_campaign=nym&utm_source=tw&utm_medium=s1

If he is good with it, it is up to him. You can give him advice and tell him how you feel, but when you put yourself into the middle of it, you are probably crossing a line.

With his size restricting his ceiling, he has to be a near slam dunk as a major leaguer to look past those physical limitations. If he had similar holes to some of the other top guys, he wouldn't be in the top 5.
