Wow. Is it just me, or did it seem MUCH worse than that? He had the 2nd worst run support in the AL at one point, that is why he was struggling at first. Plus in May he had that awful start against the Twins (9 or 10ER) that totally skewed his era for the month.

Borchard isn't that expensive right now. His big expense was his $5.3 mil signing bonus, and that has long since been paid.

The Pirates won't take anyone with a salary, unless it is paid. They want prospects. We would have to give them guys like Jeremy Reed, Joe Borchard, Kris Honel, Neal Cotts, Jon Rauch, etc

So the question is who would you rather see, Roy Halliday or some AAA soft tossing RHP that the Jays call up at the last minute to face the Sox? (And death is not an option)
